• Issuing of the invoices for each client as well as monitoring their timely payment, reporting any potential discrepancies from schedule.
• Assists in the effective monitoring of each vessel's financial operation and compliance with the accounting rules and legislation
• Executes all the accounting transactions of the assigned vessels, i.e., invoices, expenses, payments, payroll, etc., updates all the respective accounting ledgers accordingly
• Proceeds all the accounting entries and develops analytical monthly accounting reports according to the requirements and processes of Arcadia, to provide management with the required information. (DANAOS/SHIPNET)

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy/Finance/CPA/ACCA/Diploma
• At least 4 years of accounting experience specializing in vessel handling and analytical reporting from the shipping industry- Skill(s): Accounts, Tax and GST reporting
• Prior experience in the Shipping / Ship Management industry
• Prior experience with the DANAOS/SHIPNET accounting module is highly advantageous
