As our Senior Executive for Compliances, you will be ensuring that our charity operate and adhere to all prescribed standard and policies ensuring transparency and integrity. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance and HR, you will be a part of an organisation that not only alleviate hunger but also inspire positive change.
Main Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Compliance:
• Ensure operations in full compliance with legal regulations and industry-specific guidelines.
• Identifying and eliminating the risks of non-compliance, both internally and externally.
• Developing and implementing an effective internal control and monitor adherence to it.
• Proactively auditing processes, practices and documents to identify potential weaknesses and non-compliance situations.
• Evaluate business activities to assess compliance risk.
• Take action in dealing with non-compliance situations with plans to overcome them.
• Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance.
• Evaluates existing standard operating procedures within departments and identifies potential threats and/or possible unethical or illegal activity
• Works with team leaders to establish appropriate controls, implementation and improvement of sustainability policies and procedures..
• Conduct compliance checks to assess the organisation’s compliance to the relevant laws, regulations and policies.
• Liaise with regulators and/or auditors on their queries and inspections from time to time.
Procurement:
• Support, development and implementation of procurement guidelines and processes.
• To ensure all purchase requisition submission and get proper approval according to policy.
• Ensure all invoices with proper purchase requisition, delivery order and quotation.
• To check and review pricing in the inventory system.
• To arrange and managing stock take with logistics and auditor.
• To ensure all new suppliers’ approval with justification and documented.
• To review vendors/suppliers listing regularly.
• To review pricing and contracts, control and monitor against approved budget.
• To support finance in monthly reporting and analysis.
Others:
• Investigate and recommend opportunities for automation/digitisation throughout the organisation
• Undertake special projects as directed by the CEO or Senior Manager, Finance

Qualifications
• Diploma or equivalent
• Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a compliance/procurement officer or related position
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
• Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Accurate and precise attention to details.
• Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels.
