The Executive, Corporate Programmes 1, is part of the team responsible for conceptualising, designing, executing, facilitating and managing programmes and events for the entities managed by the Defence Collective Singapore (DCS), to engage various audience groups (to visit or as part of outreach efforts). The jobholder will report to Head, Corporate Programmes 1.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement events and programmes (includes conceptualisation, planning, coordination, monitoring, execution and facilitation) – with main focus on MINDEF/SAF audience
• Organise competitions – NEmation and Guardians of the City
• Handle event enquiries, requests or correspondences
• Prepare pre-event and post-event logistics
• Work with Sales team to develop and deliver events and programmes for target audience
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, partners and external vendors to ensure smooth operations for events, including procuring goods and services for event execution
• Coordinate the deployment of Part-timers (PTs), External Facilitators (EFs) and Veterans for defence-related programmes
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including delivery reports, NE surveys, and visitorship analysis for the programmes and events
• Handle and respond to feedback
• Support other team members in Corporate Programmes division, as well as School Programmes teams for key events / programmes, such as events planning and facilitation

• Needs to be able to effectively interact with colleagues within the division and other departments, such as Sales and EMP, as well as relevant external stakeholders, such as Nexus (MINDEF), to ensure timely execution of programmes and events

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess a Diploma / Degree
• Preferably with 1 to 2 years’ experience organising and delivering programmes (sports, leadership, arts, etc.) or events. First-hand experience with coordinating National Education Learning Journeys will be an advantage
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking, communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
• Organised, able to multi-task and handle tight deadlines
• Takes initiative and able to work flexible hours when required
