F&B Management Trainee

Job Scope:

• Hands-on involvement in daily operation to understand and execute duties
• Undertake management trainings and responsibilities with focus on sales management, customer satisfaction, operating expenses and shop’s profitability
• Focus mainly on Service/ FOH, but will have exposure to Kitchen/ BOH. May cover Kitchen/ BOH if operationally required
• Enforce and ensure compliance to Company SOPs, governmental regulations, food safety and hygiene standards within the store
• Any other ad-hoc duties base on operational needs

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm

Responsibilities:

• Manage office supplies and equipment to keep the workplace functional.
• Manage monthly payroll processing and administration.
• Develop and implement HR policies, ensuring compliance with labour laws.
• Manage employee relations, including addressing grievances, conflict resolution and performance management.
• Maintain documentation of employee database and personnel files
• Perform office administrative duties, including reception duties and mail/courier handling, correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records.
• Manage all insurance matters (e.g. work injury compensation, public liability, etc.)
• Prepare and submit reports, government survey returns, etc.
• Perform general HR administrative functions, such as recruitment, processing work passes and preparing appointment/confirmation letters, leave management and payroll management.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Business Administration, HR Management or relevant fields
• Min. 2-3 years’ experience in HR duties and/or administrative functions
• Ability to effectively communicate with managers and employees of the organizations
• Possess strong analytical skills and prepared to work hands-on with HR functions/ systems
• Meticulous and independent worker who is able to carry out responsibilities with minimum supervision

• Oversee efficient and effective marine fuel procurement for company’s operating container vessels at designated ports and on assigned services.
• Coordinate and fulfill marine fuel requirements for company’s operating vessels as allocated.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.

• Proven experience in bunker procurement with strong negotiation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the bunker industry and fuel specifications.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to report and share information promptly.
• Positive attitude, with strong multitasking abilities and a capability to manage tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Workspace.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you shall monitor and comply with financial reporting guidelines, prepare and review annual budget, prepare financial statements, perform budgetary controls and manage arrears. You shall be required to ensure proper records of transactions and drive strong financial controls. In addition, you are responsible for grants and assets management, inter-funds transfers, tax reporting etc.

• Consumer testing standard for Softline, Hardline.
• Electrical and Mechanical testing as per IEC standard and customer requirement.
