We are looking for a passionate and professional Senior Executive Officer to join our Corporate Strategy team.
Based in Singapore and reporting to the Senior Manager, the incumbent will support and guide the team in problem and opportunity formulation, data wrangling, possible model approaches, modes of validation and engaging the various stakeholders.

What You’ll Do
- You will engage various divisions to identify the key business requirements for which complex models need to be built.
- You will lead and guide the team in problem and opportunity formulation, data wrangling, possible model approaches, modes of validation and engaging the various stakeholders.
- You will assist the strategy team in developing the various strategic plans for the company, and implement them where it makes sense.
- You will design and put into production the models developed.
- You will do detailed modeling on the various games and bet types to optimize their performance and enable closing the gap with illegal operators.
- You will support the dissemination of analytics knowledge and sharing of experience within the team and the business users.
- You will identify, undertake and implement analytics projects, including formulation of use cases, gathering of data, development, implementation and maintenance of models.
- You will support the development of SPPL’s in house analytic capabilities through the implementation of structured methodologies and creation of infrastructural capabilities to process and analyze data.
- You will work with strategy to identify opportunities to enable the implementation and realization of the long-term strategic vision of the company.
Who You Are
- You will need at least a postgraduate degree, preferably in data science, statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, machine learning or other data centric disciplines.
- You should have experience with statistical and analytical modeling and knowledge of analytic tools.
- You should be able to work with tools to clean, transform, manipulate, model and visualize large amounts of data.
- Strong programming experience with Python.
- Familiarity with Python packages commonly used in a Data Science context, e.g., pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn, PyTorch etc.
- Proficient in various statistical methods and machine learning techniques, e.g., hypothesis testing, data cleaning, bootstrapping, random forests, clustering, deep learning, etc.
- Strong visualization and communication skills to interpret and present technical results to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
- Good to have skills:
- Knowledge of deploying machine learning models on-prem and on AWS or other cloud providers.
- Experience working with Docker and tools such as docker-compose, Portainer, etc.
- Knowledge of SQL, PySpark, a deep learning framework (e.g. PyTorch) and/or Django.
- Basic Unix knowledge.
