Job Scope:

Industry/ Organization Type: Steel trading

Position Title: Accounts and Admin Executive

Working Location: Central – Tanjong Pagar (Walking distance from MRT to company)

Working Hours: 5 days (Monday –Friday, 8.30 am – 5.30 pm)

Salary Package: SGD 3200 – SGD 3500, + AWS

Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

- Record company transactions in accounting software;

- Keeping company records in neat and orderly manner;

- Maintain various Excel reports as required by management;

- Prepare and check terms and conditions of Sale/Purchase contracts;

- Issuing of proforma invoice for payment;

- Prepare full set of export/import shipping documents;

- Check/Sign all shipping documents against Letter of Credit before submission for negotiation;

- Liaising with banks for LC amendments and documents checking at bank;

- Keep tracks of payment status after documents submission and actual time of documents arriving at issuing banks;

- Liaise and negotiate with banks for any LC confirmation, discounting or financing cost;

- Travelling may be required;

- Able to speak Mandarin and write simple Chinese;

- 1 to 2 years of accounting experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative support.

• Process invoices, handle accounts, and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Coordinate with other department staff on creditors invoice matters.
• Provide support to the necessary administration functions.

• Assist in running the operation and ensure it is smooth.
• Maintain good office administration system.
• Preparation of Bank Reconciliation, Audit Schedules and other reconciliations.

Requirements

• Candidate must posses at least LCCI or equivalent
• Knowledge of Microsoft office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel)
• Good written and communication skill
• Be meticulous in work and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

Conduct data analysis, focusing on actionable insights to inform resourcing policy decisions
Develop and implement resourcing policies and processes, in collaboration with senior management and business unit stakeholders
Oversee annual work planning and resource allocation cycle, to ensure coordination between various business units and effective organisation-level prioritisation
Continually refine policies and processes to drive a culture of learning and continuous improvement across the organisation

Requirements:
Experience in data management and data wrangling, to effectively steward multiple large datasets
Experience in data visualisation and dashboard development, to effectively organise and communicate data insights to different stakeholders
Strong project management and time management, able to manage multiple concurrent work streams and work effectively under time pressure
Good interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in teams and with multiple different stakeholders across the organisation
Relevant past experience in manpower planning and/or corporate planning, particularly in medium to large organisations, will be an advantage
Able to commit to at least 2 days of on-site work per week, subject to exigencies of work where on-site work is required

Degree & above with experience of less than 3 years
