You will develop and drive people strategies for Singapore and SEA, covering multiple businesses including TVD, UPI, Networks & DTC and other businesses on site. Basic Purpose/Accountabilities:

The Director, Market Analysis plays a crucial role in supporting Singapore Trading activities by providing oversight and guidance to the Market Analysts group. This support encompasses offering fundamental analysis direction to the analysts, as well as serving as the Strategist for Global Heavies Trading.

The incumbent will lead the local team of Market Analysts and collaborate with strategists and analysts in other Phillips 66 offices to develop trading strategies based on fundamental analysis, focusing on Heavies. Primary Responsibilities:

• Understand local key trading positions in crude, clean products, fuel oil, NGL, LPG, renewables and coordinate local market analysts’ work to suggest/evaluate required analysis to ensure all aspects of a trade position is understood.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Lead and ensure day-to-day smooth warehouse/ logistics operations.
• Plan and coordinate resources for daily inbound and outbound operations.
• Oversee both warehouse and shipping operations to ensure efficient and timely distribution.
• Maintain high level of customer service standard at all times.
• Ensure safe work environment for all operational staffs.
• Manage inventory and storage efficiencies.
• Promote continuous improvement or process improvement to optimize warehouse processes and operational workflows.
• Control costs, manage budgets, and negotiate vendor rates.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), providing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics or related field.
• At least 8 - 10 years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations, with strong supervisory experience.
• Prior experience working in a fast paced environment and handling large volume of shipments will be ideal for this position.

• Examine credit requests for various credit products across APAC and Europe ensuring adherence to credit strategies, regulatory frameworks and internal policies.
• Approve, ratify or recommend credit requests within delegated authority balancing risk awareness with potential regulatory and legal implications.
• Stay updated on local credit related regulations and ensure compliance by regularly updating credit manuals and directives.
• Review and approve rectification plans for credit violations ensuring adherence to portfolio covenants and special credit terms.
• Provide training to local credit teams and ensure the implementation of updated directives in alignment with group standards.
• Continuously update knowledge of regional economic, political and financial market developments.

skills and experience required

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Business or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a credit risk role preferably in the private banking sector.
• Strong ability to analyze financial data and assess risks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings and recommendations clearly.
