Summary
Play an instrumental role in developing credit policies and providing analytics to the various Business Units.
Responsibilities
· Assist in the development of new credit policies for the Bank.
· Review and enhance existing credit policies
· Perform credit risk monitoring on portfolio to analyze risk trends and identify root causes; including origination, quality portfolio risk migration, performance vintage quality and system development.
· Partner with internal stakeholders to identify areas of opportunity and spearhead initiatives (e.g. scorecard development to improve underwriting) in order to enable profitable growth while minimizing credit risk exposures.
· Maintain strong working knowledge on lending related regulations to ensure compliance and abreast of development and best practices in the industry.
· Manage ongoing and ad-hoc reporting needs of the Bank.
· Devise dashboards using data visualization tool, such as Tableau.
Requirements:
· A recognized Degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent.
· Minimum 5 years of credit risk management experience in a Financial Institution, focusing on credit policy and analytics.
· Possess strong knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Tableau.
· Excellent knowledge of credit underwriting best practices and compliance/regulatory guidelines.
· Meticulous with an eye for detail.
