Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers through personal sourcing, leads from existing clients, participation in organizations, and roadshows and events attendance
• Recommend appropriate products based on analyses of customers' needs and technical knowledge of product features and capabilities

• Process sales through preparation of sales agreements and relevant sales documentation, liaising between customers and internal departments to ensure successful sale

- Preparing statutory accounts.

- Ensuring Dairy payments, amounts and records are correct.

- Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.

- Recording and filing cash transactions.

- Controlling credit and chasing debt.

- Invoice processing and filing.

- Bank reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day processing and accounting relating to AP/AR/GL functions, including checking and posting entries.
• Reconcile payments and/or receipts with the bank or related statements and prepare bank reconciliation reports when necessary.
• Prepare monthly journal entries for accounts closing and bank transactions.
• Prepare monthly intercompany and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly reports and accounting schedules.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Diploma in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Meticulous, self-driven and highly motivated
• Team player and willing to cross-cover duties within Finance when required

• Proficiency in Excel / Word / PowerPoint

This role assists to deliver professional and quality services in accordance with financial reporting standards.

The role:

• Handle full spectrum of AP / AR, GL, reconciliations, monthly books closing.
• Prepare financial reports, and schedules accurately and timely.
• Process invoices, payments, staff claims.
• Record sales from client management systems and ensure AR collections are reconciled promptly and accurately.
• Follow up actively with relevant parties on AR/AP Aging to ensure proper and timely closure.
• Manage accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and inventory.
• Prepare GST filings.
• Support internal team in reporting, audits and tax.
• Carry out improvised procedures, implement necessary internal control processes.
• Manage intercompany transactions, inter-group expense recharging, project accounting, etc.
• Liaise with clients and relevant stakeholders for all statutory and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
• Involve in new ERP system testing and implementation
• Any other duties as instructed by the supervisor or the management.

The person:

• Accounting Diploma/Degree or equivalent.
• Min 2 years of related working experience.
• Ability to meet deadlines within service level agreements and work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.

• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel.

About the Role:

This position is an integral part of the team and is mainly responsible for Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis and Treasury functions. He/she need to also perform other duties, ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned.

Roles and responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Prepare actual and budget/forecast financial reporting and presentation, including improve the template when needed.
• Perform variance analysis and document commentaries on financial results for the respective business and operation units.
• Partner with business teams to support business decisions & strategy.
• Ensure each business and operation units costs are being forecasted and accounted properly for before month end close.
• Assist to manage outsource service provider related to month end reporting package.

Intercompany transactions Management

• Ensure agreements are in place and maintain inter-co agreement listings up to-date.
• Update intercompany recharges template for corporate function.

Treasury Matters

• Support in preparing daily cash flow report.
• Manage hedging operations, evaluation, and monitoring of daily rates.
• Support in other Treasury matters.

Others

• Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, internal control procedures and accounting policies.
• Review existing processes and drive for continuous improvements.
• Perform other duties, ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned.
