KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Credit Analysis

• Timely drafting of credit analysis as directed by Hub Team Leads, such analysis should be insightful, relevant and succinct and include the following where required by Country CA teams, inter alia:
• Discussion of the dynamics and nature of the Client’s industry, competitive positioning, including key risk aspects;
• Discussion of management strength, experience and track record and corporate governance more broadly;
• Articulation of the Client’s strategy and an assessment of its clarity and associated execution risks
• Assessment of funding strategy, financial policy, treasury activity (hedging, cash management) and liquidity;
• Assessment of balance sheet strength, alongside cash flow and profitability vulnerability, via ratio analysis and/or stress testing including a current / performance forecast expectation;
• Discussion of other pertinent risk aspects associated with a particular proposed transaction, including country risk, parental and/or governmental linkage/support, relative ranking of indebtedness;

Transport: We have company bus departing near Clementi MRT station at 8.10am to bring staff to our office and also a return company bus trip back to Clementi in the evening.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to engineers in compiling reports, letters and drawings for submission
• Coordinate with engineering, client & contractors to ensure schedules are followed
• Ensure client’s requirements on the submitted documents are fulfilled in a timely manner
• Perform quality control and maintenance of the documents (electronic and hard copy documents) as per company procedure
• Scan and upload documents in the ‘Project Team’ SharePoint and ensure all documentation is discoverable and accessible

Your new role

As part of the bank’s expansion, they are looking for highly skilled and motivated credit risk talents to join the credit review team. In this exciting role, you will be conducting independent credit assessments on their corporate customers, ensuring the appropriateness of risk ratings and adherence to internal grading policies. You will play a crucial role in identifying key risks and mitigating factors during the evaluation process and present your findings to the credit committee for deliberation. What you'll need to succeed

For you to be successful in this position, you will have:

• 5 or more years’ experience in credit risk analysis, credit approval, and/or credit review functions with a reputable banking/financial services institution
• Strong background in credit risk analysis, financial analysis/projections, and credit assessment for corporate customers
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to identify and articulate issues/observations
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work well in a team and contribute individually within stipulated timelines

Credit Controller Officer / Executive
Salary: $2800 to $3500 (Depends on Experience) + AWS + VB
Mon to Fri - 9am to 6pm
Working Location: Joo Koon
(Lunch Provided & Transport provided - From Boon Lay)

Responsibilities

• Assist in Debts Collection & follow up of overdue account
• Prepare regular & monthly credit related reports to Finance manager/ HOD
• Assist in monitoring monthly debts collection performance
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to non-payment of invoices
• Conduct aged balance review with Finance manager/ HOD to follow up review action
• To adopt collection best practices and apply relevant collections strategies to enhance effectiveness
• Recommend improvements of credit risk measures, controls and processes
• Any other duties as assigned
• Evaluating new credit request and conducting client credit checks.
• Suggest and implement terms of credit for new clients
• Negotiating payment plans and collection
• Responding client inquiries
• Liaising with customers (internal/ external) to build and foster strong relationships.

Requirement

• Diploma holder (Finance Background preferred)
• 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in credit control would be advantageous
