RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for the general maintenance of the home. Ensuring home's equipment, gadgets and instruments are maintained at optimal functioning level at all times. • Conduct general repair and maintenance of premises and equipment

Department Overview:

Epworth HomeSweetHome was started in 2013 in partnership with the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) as the first Therapeutic Group Home in Singapore. The Home provides stay-in treatment for children between the ages of 7 to 12 years old who have experienced abuse. We use the Trauma System Therapy (TST) treatment model to help children with complex trauma and aggressive behaviour.

We believe that with early and appropriate intervention, children can recover and become well-adjusted persons with a healthy mental well-being. • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a healthcare related discipline. Master’s degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience in related organisations in large scale project coordination work.
• Good organizational development skills and preferably with good knowledge of the public healthcare setting, experience and familiarity is an important and useful attribute
• Relevant communications experience (preferably in healthcare setting) is an advantage.
• Proven people management experience with excellent interpersonal and communications skills, particularly in written communications.
• Ability to think and work strategically.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast changing environment and work under tight timelines.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, MS Powerpoint tools for data analysis, building charts, etc.

Responsibilities

• Drive and achieve category sales, gross profit, income goals and objectives of assigned categories through monitoring trends within the market segments; developing strategies to grow the market share of assigned categories; and to plan strategies to counter competition.
• Develop and implement a good inventory management process so that there is an optimum product mix that focuses on customers’ needs and the process achieves shrinkage reduction objective.
• Develop and implement promotional plans that bring excitement and incremental sales to the stores.
• Develop and implement placement and planogram strategies that improve category turnover and positively influence customer shopping behavior.
• Oversees the implementation of category strategies as well as the development of the private label or house brand products.
• Ability to source for new brands or products, and build strong relationships with business partners and is well-informed of consumer, market and industry trends
