Student Care Teacher

Location: Jurong Point / ONE Holland
Centre operation : 10am to 7pm (School day) | 8.30am to 7pm (School Holiday)
Working timing: 35 hours per week (school day) | hourly basis base on package
Salary : $2200 - $2800

Purpose of the Job:

• Provide children with care, stimulating environment to learn, supervision and guidance during the after school hours and school holidays.
• Plan, coordinate and execute programmes during Term and School Holidays.
• Help children grow in all aspect of life - emotional, social, physical, intellectual and spiritual.
• Ensure the safety, security and well-being of students at all times.

Job Description:

1. Manage a group of about 20 students (7 – 12 years)
2. Ensure students finish school homework (give spelling drills, prepare them for test/examinations – e.g. students do more practices on assessment books, ensure completed exercises in assessment books are marked, ensure corrections done)
3. Supervise and guide the student with their school work as well as life skills (play, hygiene and meal time)
4. Plan and conduct child appropriate social and recreational activities and holiday programs
5. Ensure the safety, security and well-being of students
6. Address classroom disciplinary issues using positive disciplinary technique
7. Prepare/organise and execute/conduct creative learning activities and outings as required
8. Support the holistic development of students in alignment with organisation’s goals
9. Fetch students from a nearby school to the Centre
10. Handle administrative classroom management tasks
11. Maintain regular communication with student’s parents
12. Foster good working relationship with students, parents and team members

Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, the teacher

• Conducts activities in the Centre and works with other staff to plan programmes and activities.
• Plans lessons with focus on character building and exploration learning.
• Establish and maintain supportive relationships with children and parents.

Requirements:

· Minimum Polytechnic Diploma

· Preferably familiar with either all or any of the following subjects Chinese language, Math & English & Science to Primary School aged children

· Preferably with some experience in children education

Job Requirements:

• Degree in any discipline
• At least 5 years of working experience in similar nature
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills with an eye for details

Roles and Responsibilities

-Supervising and guiding of school homework and spellings ( English and Chinese).

You will be part of an integral team, tasked to centrally coordinate AIC-wide efforts for national initiatives such as Healthier SG (HSG) and Age Well SG (ASG).

• Plan and facilitate cross and multi-divisional discussion to drive AIC-wide implementation under HSG and ASG.
• Involved in discussions with MOH policy divisions on HSG and ASG and align on key expectations and deliverables.
• Serve as and be seen by the RHS and AIC divisions as the main POC for RHS on population health matters.
• Develop deep understanding of the RHS team, its strategy and plans for population health.
• Develop and implement pilot model, tools and resources that advance population health.
• Engage RHS to align initiatives with AIC strategy/framework.
• Create mindshare of population health for internal AIC divisions.
• Participate in the discussions on population health matters and bridge the gaps.
• Champion the change management efforts across AIC, including active participation in cross-divisional workgroups.
• Involved in the development of the regional orchestrator model, and operationalise on the ground.
• Facilitate the implementation and use of collaboration platforms for the sharing of learnings, best practices, information and data.
• Engage and work with internal and external stakeholders to identify gaps and barriers and work to create solutions to overcome the barriers.

Job Requirements:

• Recognized degree in any discipline, healthcare, public policy or gerontology related will be an advantage.
• Minimum 1 to 3 years working experience preferably in healthcare and/or social sector.
• Experience in maintaining strong networks and partnerships with stakeholders.
• Experience in project/programme management.
• Strong communication skills.
• Possess good critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Self-driven, with a strong team-mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Admin Assistant [Part-time]

As an Admin Assistant in Counselling and Care Centre, you will be working closely with the Senior Admin Executive with reception related duties which includes attending to phone calls, enquiries, etc.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Be the first responder to the centre’s call line and provide initial touch point.
2. Attend to clients when they arrive for appointments and clarifying payment status.
3. Manage change requests on appointment cancellations or re-scheduling.
4. Provide admin support to a team of therapists.
5. Reconcile daily payment collection.
6. Perform administrative duties on ad-hoc basis.

Skills Required:

1. Pleasant disposition and ability to deal with difficult clients.
2. Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel.
