Job Responsibilities:

• Assesses and provides individualized Occupational Therapy intervention for children with a wide range of developmental challenges (e.g., Motor Coordination Disorder or Autism Spectrum Disorder or ADHD etc.)
• Conducts group Occupational Therapy classes (e.g., in the areas of handwriting and socialization)
• Establishes good therapist - parent – teacher relationships through regular feedback and open communication; provides parents, caregivers, and relevant teachers with updates on the child’s progress and relevant home or class strategies and recommendations after each session with the child
• Establishes a good network of and maintains good relations with relevant teachers and other professionals in the field
• Update parents regarding sessions and progress after each session (text/photos/videos etc)
• Updating case notes post-sessions regularly and independently
• Be proactive in keeping abreast of developments in the field of Pediatric Occupational Therapy
• Complies with the regulations and guidelines of AHPC
• Able to commit to work on weekends (Saturday / Sunday)

Qualifications:

• Diploma, degree, or post-graduate qualification in occupational therapy from a recognized university.
• Registered and complies with the regulations under the Allied Health Professions Act 2011.
• Passionate about inclusionary practice and implementation of early intervention strategies.
• Possesses ability to build rapport and therapeutic relationships with the children and families.
• At least 3 year’s experience working with children would be preferable.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.

• Assess the needs of patients, families, or healthcare providers to provide tailored recommendations for allied health services.
• Work with healthcare providers to create multidisciplinary treatment plans involving allied health professionals.
• Help individuals and families connect with appropriate allied health professionals, such as physical therapists, speech therapists, dietitians, and social workers.
• Educate patients and families about the roles of allied health professionals and the services they provide.
• Providing guidance, expertise, such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and other specialized care.
• Assist familes and helpers in navigating healthcare systems, implementing support services, and ensuring effective outcomes.

After School Student Care Teacher (Math & Science subjects)

Basic Salary: $3000-$3500
Working Hours: Mon-Fri | 12pm-7pm 44hrs/week
Working Location: Sembawang Shopping Centre

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement the program for the class in accordance with the policies, guidelines, framework and philosophy of the centre.
• Guide primary school children (primary 1 to 6) to ensure completion of daily homework
• Keep accurate records of children’s progress and address each child’s educational and developmental needs on an individual basis to the best of your ability.
• Responsible for the preparation and upkeep of teaching resources, arrangement, appearance and learning environment of the classroom.
• Maintain and build relationships with children and parents.
• Conduct franchise unique enrichment programmes.
• Being an inspiring role model with a creative spirit and a champion (positive) mindset.
• Ensure safety and timely transfer of students from school to student centre
• Ensure safety of children within the premises
• Any other ad-hoc duties as delegated by Centre Director
