We are looking to hire a Service Delivery Leader to support our client in Singapore which is a top global investment bank.
The Service Delivery Leader will support the network infrastructure across 12 different markets in the APAC region. He/She is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of network services to internal bank customers. This role acts as the primary liaison between the network engineering/operations teams and the commercial/procurement functions to ensure seamless service delivery, vendor management, and lifecycle management of network assets. You will lead a high-performing team to execute the strategy, manage financial and commercial aspects, and handle procurement of network circuits, pipes, switches, and other essential components.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years++ of experience in service delivery, or commercial/procurement roles, preferably within the financial services or banking sector. A strong understanding of network technologies, vendor management, procurement processes, and financial management is essential.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy
- Lead and inspire a team of network infrastructure professionals across the APAC region.
- Develop and execute strategic plans that align with our business and IT goals.
- Collaborate with senior IT leaders to ensure our network infrastructure supports business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Service Delivery Management
- Manage the lifecycle of network components, from planning to decommissioning.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards for security, performance, and reliability.
- Coordinate with the operations team to maintain high availability and performance of network infrastructure.
- Network Changes and Upgrades: Collaborate with network engineering to plan and execute network changes, upgrades, and projects.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures, and maintain network asset inventories.
Contract and Vendor Management
- Lead contract negotiations and manage relationships with network service providers and hardware vendors.
- Oversee procurement processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and budget adherence.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure SLA compliance and prompt issue resolution.
Financial Management
- Develop and manage the network infrastructure budget, ensuring efficient resource use and cost control.
- Provide financial reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting variances and recommending actions.
Risk and Compliance
- Identify and mitigate risks, including security vulnerabilities and service disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive initiatives to enhance network performance, reliability, and security.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.
Transition Management
- Act as a bridge between project and operations teams to ensure smooth transitions.
- Develop strategies for seamless handovers of new or upgraded infrastructure.
- Collaborate with project managers and operational teams on transition plans, including training and documentation.
Inventory Management
- Oversee the inventory of network components, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain detailed records of circuit ownership for accountability and proper management.
Required Skills:
Education and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a network support, service delivery, or commercial/procurement role, preferably in a financial services or banking environment
- Proficiency in network monitoring, management, and asset tracking tools
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and financial management abilities
- Proven experience in vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiations and vendor billing
- Experience in capacity planning and management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
