Customer Service cum Operations Executive (Air & Sea)

Responsibilities:

• Handling Customer’s inquiries and ensure to comply with operation procedures and Preparing quotations and proposals.
• Ensuring company announcements, products, services, rates, policies, and operational changes are communicated to customers on a timely basis.
• Handle Shipment – process documentation, manifest, invoices, cost capturing
• Coordinate with airlines and co-loaders to arrange for space booking
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, carriers, warehouse, and transport sub-contractors, collection of goods with the traffic controller
• Liaison and Attending to Customs, Agents, and Government Authorities enquires
• Ensure full compliance with customs and airport regulations
• Ensures SOP alignment to customer expectations and company's agreed standards of performance.
• Support the Sales Department in quoting, liaising, and following up.
• To promote our service to new clients.
• Handling of permit declaration in timely and accurate handling of all tradenet declarations and submissions.
• Ensure Costing and billing are completed timely and files are closed correctly within a given timeframe.
• Operations to assist and work closely with the warehouse.
• Accomplish any other ad hoc basis work on administrative duties assigned by the Manager.

Requirements:

• Experience in freight forwarding will be an added advantage
• Possess sound knowledge of permit declaration would be an added advantage
• Knowledge of CCN/ Customs Regulations will be an added advantage
• Must be able to work towards deadlines and according to SOPs and KPIs.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel applications.
• Good working attitude, hardworking and able to perform under pressure, and ability to multi-task
• Team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be part of AST's Customer Services Division. This customer-facing role encompasses a wide variety of day-to-day tasks aimed at providing an exceptional customer experience to the pilots performing their flight simulator training. Ensure that all customer concerns and requests are attended with high level of professionalism and on timely manner. He/ She need to keep a high level of harmonious relationship with the customer.

Responsibilities

1. Attend to walk-in customers and perform frontline services to any customers / visitors entering the premises. These include:

3. Assist with tenant-related enquiries including but not limited to booking of meeting/ conference rooms/ guest rooms.

4. Assist with the planning, co-ordination and execution of internal and company events.

5. Setting & tidying up of the guest rooms for accommodation.

6. Monitor Pantry and Stationery supplies and coordinate purchases when needed. Replenish F&B supplies in Pilot Lounge, Boardroom and guest rooms.

7. Other potential engagements in other work areas within the Company.

Requirements

• Possesses at least a Diploma with at least 2 years of relevant experience in customer and/or administrative service.
• Prior working experience in aviation industry/ hospitality / customer service experience is highly advantageous.
• High-quality written and verbal communication skills.

• Structured Network Infrastructure for Layer 2 & 3 support.
• Certification in CCNA, CCNP is highly preferred

• Handle daily operations independently

You play a vital role in creating a memorable experience for all our passengers. Your main role involves checking-in, greeting passengers upon their arrival and ensuring a smooth departure process. You may also be tasked to assist passengers with special needs or provide customer service in exclusive premier lounges at Changi Airport. Besides being responsible for buffet table presentations, you also handle meet/greet services at the reception area and perform basic computerized transactions.

About the Role

The Customer Service Officer is responsible for the delivery of services to meet the requirement of the customers by coordinating with the different service providers, warehouse and other department. You will form an inegral part of the customer service team to play a critical role in driving operational excellence to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.

This role is an implant role and will be working at the customer's site in Kallang permanently.

Key Responsibilities

• To monitor inbound shipments, update tracking, provide updates to stakeholders, coordinate customs clearance and unloading at 3PL
• To coorindate smooth clearance of inbound shipments with forwarders and perform timely Goods Receipt into SAP system.
• To handle daily shipments received from customer and coordinate with appointed 3PL service providers to execute in a timely manner. Process includes; empty return's collection, prompt response to enquiries and the management of customer
• To perform regular return shipment of empty canisters and cylinders to customer's plants
• Responsible for timely updates of assigned reports
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ level education
• Fresh graduates are welcome
• Proficient in MS Office
• Meticulous and accurate with a positive attitude and able to multi-task
• Good team player who can work independently with minimum supervision
• Customer oriented with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Able to work offsite in customer's location

In this role you are required:
1. Checking in passengers and ensuring all travel documents are valid for travel
2. Service ambassador to assist and guide passengers on the use of Self- Service Kiosk and Auto Bag Drops
3. Gate handling duties including communicating with airline crews and coordinating departure and arrival activities with various departments
4. Assisting passenger who require special assistance like wheelchair and escorting services
5. Any other Ad-hoc duties assigned by your supervisor

1. Able to read, write and communicate in English
