Job Summary
As a Senior Human Resource Manager in the Healthcare/Social Service sector, you will play a pivotal role in aligning human capital strategies with organizational goals. Your responsibilities will span from recruitment and talent management to employee relations and compliance within the unique context of healthcare or social service environments. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition:Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified professionals, including physicians, nurses, social workers, therapists, and administrative staff.
Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and plan recruitment initiatives accordingly.
Oversee the recruitment process, from job posting to candidate selection, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Utilize innovative sourcing methods, such as social media recruitment, networking events, and partnerships with educational institutions.
- Employee Relations and Engagement:Serve as a trusted advisor and mediator in employee relations matters, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Implement strategies to boost employee morale, satisfaction, and retention.
Lead initiatives to recognize and reward employee contributions and achievements.
Address employee concerns and conflicts promptly and impartially, promoting open communication and resolution.
- Performance Management and Development:Develop and implement performance management systems to evaluate employee performance and facilitate professional growth.
Provide guidance and support to managers in conducting performance evaluations, setting goals, and creating development plans.
Identify training and development needs across the organization and coordinate relevant programs and initiatives.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement to support employee career advancement.
- Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to healthcare or social service employment practices.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including those related to equal employment opportunity, wage and hour, and workplace safety.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance and mitigate legal risks.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance and address any identified issues proactively.
- Strategic Planning and Leadership:Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute human resource strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, organizational structure, and talent management strategies.
Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to the development of long-term business plans.
Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, fostering their growth and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Relevant experiences in Healthcare / Social Service Preferred
