You will be part of the team in delivering service excellence and customer satisfaction in the Contact Centre. He/ She will attend to phone enquiries from policyholders and financial representatives and live chats from financial representatives, effectively maintaining the Contact Centre’s high level of accessibility.

Job Description:

• Attend to enquiries and requests from phone calls/ live chats in a professional, efficient, accurate and prompt manner.
• Resolve customers’/ financial representatives’ complaints and problems at first touchpoint resolution with good closure.
• Update complete and accurate information on customer interaction in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Ensure effective and timely follow-up as promised to customers/ financial representatives.
• Assess appeals and put up recommendation to Managers/ Head/ HOD.
• Perform additional or overtime duties during operational exigencies when required.
• Assist with ad-hoc initiatives/ projects when delegated by management.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree holder qualifications with relevant experience will be preferred.
• Comfortable talking to customers from all walks of life.
• Comfortable chatting through typing via live chat system with financial representatives.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess a pleasant and cheerful disposition.
• A team player who works well in a dynamic environment.
• Candidates without prior experience may apply.

Responsibilities:

• Greet members and guests and welcome them to the restaurant
• Present menus and explain menu items as well as specials of the day
• Place food and beverage order through the club Point-Of-Sale system
• Serve food and beverage items in a professional manner
• Clean and reset tables with glassware and cutleries
• Check member’s satisfaction and any issues which may arise
• Report any incident to Restaurant Manager
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Restaurant Manager/Assistant Restaurant Manager
• Upsell food and beverages in the outlet

Requirements:

• Certificate from a recognized Hotel Training School (or Culinary Institution) or an appropriate amount of progressive work experience to waive academic qualifications.
• Minimum of 1 or 2 years in varying positions.
• Knowledge of religious dietary requirements and Singapore Laws required.
• Services and kitchen production flow of Ministry of Environment standard required.
• Possess a basic understanding of Western and Asian food knowledge
• Basic cocktails, wines, spirit and specialty coffee knowledge an advantage
• Experience in operating Point of Sales System an advantage
• Keen to learn and grow in the Food & Beverage industry
• Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends and Public Holidays

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare basic, washing, peeling, chopping and cutting raw items
• Rearrange walk chiller and freezer raw materials based on FIFO
• Conduct pre-cooking checks on raw materials
• Prepare raw materials for the next meal
• To ensure all raw materials are labeled and dated
• Make cordial drinks if required
• Provide quality service if serving is required
• Collect food samples
• Adhering to kitchens food handling Standard Operating Procedure
• Ensure the kitchen surrounding areas are cleaned properly
• Handles all equipment and utensils the proper way and clean as you go
• Track, record and replenish inventory as needed
• Suggest improvement activities across workstations
• Other work scope as required by business needs

• Food Hygiene cert is an added advantage and training will be provided for those who has no relevant certificate
