• Acts as the main contact point for all intra and/or inter-department feedback and complaint handling and liaise with affected business or support unit to determine the cause of issue and resolution for customer.
• Ensure timely handling of customer issues raised and proactively follows up to ensure all stakeholders are kept informed and does their part in addressing customer's issues and resolution promptly.
• Embody customer engagement & professionalism by showcasing excellent customer handling skills and appropriate service recovery when necessary.
• Collate, analyze and identify customer service gaps in the customer experience feedback, complaints and compliments to provide business intelligence for the Call Centre and the Bank.
• Recommends improvements in work processes or systems based on identified gaps to contribute to the improvement of Call Centre’s overall performance.

The knowledge, experience, and qualifications you’ll need to succeed

• A university degree holder in any discipline with minimum 2 years’ of relevant work experience in Complaints Management familiar with banking and/or credit cards process, products and systems (prior experience as universally-trained UOB Call Centre staff preferred).
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, with ability to influence and persuade stakeholders. Bilingual in a second language (spoken and written) is an advantage.
• A strong customer service mindset with good communication, excellent problem solving and complaint management skills to represent the Bank to customers and general public
• Possess strong interpersonal skills, resourceful and able to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to rapidly assimilate complex information and make expert judgments/decisions under pressure in complex situations.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Job Description

1. Problem analysis and approach

Gather all information relevant for the problem, analyze using available means, gather additional diagnostic info if needed, decide on initial approach to solve problem, assess new information and adapt approach if necessary

2. Problem handovers and routing

Handover problem or problem aspects to others (2nd / 3rd line support), document and package all data relevant for problem resolution (e.g. pass-downs, work orders, field service reports, system problem reports, technical reports), ensure problem ownership is clear, ensure follow-up

3. Repairs

Advise customer technical personnel in dealing with problems, together with customer technical staff and using manuals and guidance from 2nd and 3rd line support, use tools, replace parts, improve settings, to execute repairs

4. Procedures

Arrange with customer machine time window to execute procedure, plan procedure, arrange for all (possible) parts, tools, equipment and information / knowledge to be available at start of procedure, execute procedure, make necessary decisions / adaptations during procedure to realize optimal results

5. Training / advice

Explain appropriate actions to users to correct malfunctions, train customers in use and routine maintenance of equipment, recommend changes in user procedures when needed

6. Installation

Install equipment at customers locations, including equipment with new features, unload components, inspect for damage, assemble, align and test

Education & Experience

- Degree or Diploma in Electronics / Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics

- At least 2-3 years' working experience for Diploma holders (semiconductor industry preferred)

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team and interact with customers
