Job Description

• To assist the Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager to supervise and coordinate the daily front desk operations.
• To be proactive thinking, to be able to react fast to problems, and to make sound management decisions.
• Able to show responsibility and make decisions to handle any operations issues that may arise in the absence of the management.
• To welcome and bid farewell to all VIP guests.
• To develop and maintain close business contacts with house guests and provide personalized service whenever possible.
• To handle complaints or incidents/accidents occurring in the hotel when necessary.
• Record all complaints into logbook for management and all departments' attention or follow up.
• Respond to emergency calls, fire alarm, power failure, computer and medical attention and coordinate with respective departments and contacts.
• Be familiar with and ensure that all preparations for VIP and group arrivals and departures are well organized.

• Research and identify potential business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments that align with the company's growth objectives and target markets.
• Conduct market research and analysis to assess market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and industry developments. Use market insights to identify growth opportunities and develop targeted strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, vendors, and industry influencers. Cultivate long-term relationships through effective communication, networking, and relationship management.
• Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. Collaborate with sales teams to identify sales opportunities, develop sales pipelines, and close deals.
• Identify and establish strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations to expand the company's reach, capabilities, and market presence. Negotiate partnership agreements and manage ongoing relationships with partners.
• Track and analyze business development activities, sales performance, and key metrics. Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management, highlighting progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.

Customer Service Officer (Woodlands Checkpoint) – Up to $2,700 Gross

Location:
Woodlands Checkpoint

Working Hours:

• 12-hour rotating shift (10am-10pm / 10pm-10am)
• Rotating schedule: 2 Day shifts, 2 Night shifts, 2 Off
• Open to candidates seeking Day or Night shifts (Shift allowance may not apply for permanent shifts)

Contract Duration:
1-year contract, renewable based on performance and operational needs

Salary & Benefits:

• Gross Salary: Up to $2,700 (includes shift allowance, OT, performance bonuses, and incentives)
• Join-in bonus of $600 upon confirmation.
• Additional incentives: Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Performance Bonuses
• Uniform provided for easy identification

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in card issuance and payment collection at the office booth
• Handle the collection of fees and fines (VEP, Toll, ERP) at manned terminals
• Process digital applications for vehicle permits and ensure accurate data entry for motorists
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing motorists’ queries professionally
• Ensure smooth daily operations at the checkpoint

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum GCE N-Level qualification
• At least 1 year of experience in cashiering and customer service roles
• Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Open to Singaporean only
