KidSTART@KKH Antenatal Programme, provides support services to pregnant mothers from vulnerable families. The programme aims to recruit families from early pregnancy, to optimize the developmental potential of their children through an integrated health and social approach.

The recruitment officer’s role is to support with outreach efforts to engage and recruit these new families into the programme.

Being the main contact person, you will assist with programme enquiries, facilitate in explanation about the programme and route potential patients to Social Work Assistants for enrolment. Job Requirement:

( A ) JOB SUMMARY

The Customer Services Associate is responsible to present a welcoming experience to patients and customers In the lobby and at the entrances into Thomson Medical Centre (TMC). He/She is responsible for smooth hospital operations, display consistent excellent service level to all internal external customers at all times, including duties assigned by Senior Guest Services Officers, Guest Service Officers, Assistant Manager and Senior Manager, Guest Services.

( B ) PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greeting and Assistance: Welcome patients, visitors, and doctors at various entrances and counters. Enquire about their purpose of visit and offer directions or assistance.
• Crowd Control and Directional Assistance: Provide crowd control during discharge times and directional assistance to patients and visitors.
• Luggage Assistance: Help patients with their luggage and belongings during admission and discharge.
• Queue Management: Assist with obtaining queue numbers and advising on necessary documents for admission.
• Patient Transfer: Transfer patients within the hospital, including from admission to ward, operating theatre, and during discharge.
• Hospital Items Management: Receive hospital items like gift packs, perform stock-take, deliver items to patients, and keep records of hospital inventory.
• Wheelchair Availability: Ensure wheelchairs are available for emergency use and operate wheelchair lifts when required.

• Temperature Screening: Perform temperature screening duties on weekends, public holidays, or as assigned.
• Other Duties: Cover duties of other team members during their absence and perform any other assigned tasks.

Job Responsibilities

Volunteer Management

• Explore, plan and manage all publicity & outreach efforts for volunteer recruitment and engagement initiatives and programs. Screen, plan and coordinate volunteer orientation.
• Conduct volunteer recognition and engagement programs to foster a sense of belonging for volunteers.
• Manage volunteer database and prepare timely progress reports on deployment and statistics.
• Plan, organise & coordinate other capability development and training initiatives for volunteers and community stakeholders.
• Conduct periodic checks to ensure volunteer well-being.
• Assess the needs of the organization and monitor the progress of volunteers.

Project Development

• To support in the development & delivery of new programmes/ initiatives/ workshops, not limited for volunteers, aimed at enhancing the care experience of seniors, caregivers and volunteers.
• Work with programmes team to support selected pilot projects/programmes from their development to implementation phases, i.e., finding volunteer resources, coordinating with community partners, with the goal to build and secure potential future programme funding.
• Seek key engagement platforms for seniors, caregivers, volunteers, community partners, universities/IHLs, health and social care professionals to co-create and spark new ideas to create a better health and social care system for all. The role involves end-to-end event planning and execution, publicity and marketing, liaison and coordination.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Social Work/Customer Relationship Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Talent Management/Relationship Management or related.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills, meticulous and task orientated.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage to converse with non-English speaking stakeholders.
• Able to communicate in local dialects will be an advantage to converse with local dialects speaking stakeholders.
