As a Maintenance Technician (Electrical / Mechanical) in Rolls- Royce Singapore, you will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Key Accountabilities:
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s auxiliary equipment.
Perform corrective maintenance of production equipment during production and scheduled preventive maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Competent to read and interpret equipment manuals, mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams and perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments and execute high level complex troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties and detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas and support the Manufacturing Services Leader in all equipment maintenance activities for the facility.
Ability to work in a 3 rotating shift pattern (5 days work-week).
Essential Qualifications:
Possess at least a NTC or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent number of years of education.
Minimum 8 years of equipment maintenance experience and 5 years of working in manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Maximo system.
Led transformation projects and is familiar with continuous improvement methodologies such as six sigma and lean.
In-depth understanding of machine tools is essential and experience in the machine maintenance is a must
Good understanding of industry regulations and best practices of asset management and production maintenance.

Key Accountabilities:
Provide 24/7 support of customers promoting timely resolution of issues by communicating through the appropriate IT systems and internal channels.
Develop a close working relationship with the customer at all levels to facilitate communication of key business messages to the customer and collection of customer data.
Identify potential issues with our products and services to enable them to be proactively managed and improved.
Provide customer business forecast inputs, fleet plans and shop visit plans/workscope.
Identify potential product and service sales opportunities for Rolls-Royce within the airline's business.
Provide support of new product introduction and in preparing customer readiness for the receipt of products.
Qualifications:
Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (or equivalent) – considered an integral asset.
Technical and/or services background and ideally experience of working with gas turbines, their operation and functionality, plus familiarity with airline operator's line maintenance practices and regulations.
Knowledge of the civil aviation industry and a good understanding of Rolls-Royce products and service contracts.
Experience of working in a customer facing environment.
High degree of self-motivation, flexibility, initiative, communication skills and commitment to deliver.
