Job Description

• Position Title: Service Engineer (Marine)
• Working Location: North-East – Ang Mo Kio
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon to Fri: 8.30 am-5.30 pm)
• Salary Package: Up to SGD 3500 + AWS+ Performance Bonus + Mobile Allowance and Transport Allowance
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Inspecting safety equipment (e.g. Fire Detection System, Gas Detection System)
• Resolving onsite malfunctions
• Rectification of safety systems
• Repairs and technical improvements
• Installation and commissioning of new systems
• Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment

• ITE in Electrical or Electronics
• Min. 1 year of working experience in a hands-on job
• Experience as a field engineer or similar role in a Marine background is a plus
• Comfortable with travelling out of Singapore for work
• Able to work in adverse weather and overtime and weekends
• Willing to be assigned onboard ships at anchor, in shipyards, or abroad, should the job require it
• Training provided to an inexperienced candidate

Responsibilities:
Manage and take in accident reporting and explain claims process to customers

Liaised with insurance company pertaining motor claims / accident reporting reporting matters

Study vehicle damaged area and able to put up proper repair estimation to surveyor/insurance company

Conduct vehicle checks for body and paintwork repairs

Administration duties such as check costing, claims and purchase of spare parts

Take in servicing/accident vehicle and provide quotation

At least 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in the Automotive industry.

No experiences, but willing to learn will be good. Training will be provided.

Possess good customer oriented and comunication skills
Experience in doing motor claims in authorised workshop / service centres will have an added advantage

Candidates with no experiences but willing to learn are welcome
