As Project Cluster Lead South East Asia you are responsible driving a cluster segment as part of the overall SEA roadmap

You will work closely together with our Sourcing Leads across the globe to orchestrate the development of our SEA supply chain by understanding and visualizing opportunities based on existing Sourcing Strategies. You will actively monitor the development of our SEA supply chain based on QLTCS principles which includes the development of a deep understanding of the SEA supply-chain.

Job Description

• You set-up the SEA SC framework, together with your cluster(s) including scope, complexity, timeline, resource requirements, and progress per project/ transfer initiative
• You act as a partner and interface for the Sourcing Cluster strategy towards SEA suppliers: challenge the sourcing organization on topics such as scope, sustainability targets, timing and cost roadmaps
• You orchestrate SEA SC opportunities across clusters and platforms – based on an extensive framework with e.g. supplier capabilities, costs, order lead time factors taken into account.
• You develop and maintain the SEA local part catalogue
• You ensure alignment with the PLM and D&E organization on a project based level/ transfer initiative
• You drive the implementation of Best Known Methods regarding SEA transfers

Educational Level

To qualify for this position, you need to be able to demonstrate deep analytical skills and at the same time very strong people and communication skills. Typically a completed quantitative study at master (e.g. operations research, econometrics, mathematics, engineering or physics) serves as a good basis to be successful in this role while an affinity with business or (finance) economics will be essential, a MBA is a plus.
