Managerial responsibilities for a team of nine

Responsible for design and creativity on projects from concept design and space planning through to development and presentation, ensuring high quality outputs and creativity.

Actively seek and share inspiration and reference from sources outside of the business to support creative design solutions.

Produce concept work using hand sketches and a variety of digital and traditional media to a high standard whilst directing the work of other junior team members on the project.

Produce and check drawing packages for schematic and detail design stages

Assemble presentations using a variety of digital and traditional media, particularly power point.

Attend client meetings alone or with the support of the project leader leading or contributing to client presentations.

Competently source reference material and carry out research to ensure that materials and products are fit for purpose.

A comprehensive knowledge of markets, our clients and their competitors.

Establish and develop a strong working relationship with clients on allocated projects and identify project opportunities independently

Contribute proactively to business development, pitches, proposal writing and presentations.

Attend site visits independently and respond to any issues.

Involve in site measurement, layout plan & selection of material used

Leading project communication, including liaising with the design, clients, construction, supplier and

contractors’ team and ensuring meetings are properly recorded.

Prepare accurate and timely fee proposals for projects.

Ensure successful delivery and completion of a project within agreed timelines and budgets.

Product Design Executive

As a Product Design Executive, you will need to develop design through sketches, prototypes, renderings and communicating with manufacturers. You will be regularly presenting design works to various decision makers. You will be involved in developing products from concept to factory production while keeping within budgets and timelines.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of design documentation, including tender, construction and detailing drawings.
• Responsible for rendering plans and sections and elevations, translate concept design into working documents for all phases of the process.
• Assist in technical & product research & review with the design team
• Assist in setting up and maintaining an updated filing system with design documents and CAD standards.
• Assist to review shop drawings accordingly to design documentation
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned and required by the company

Skills, Experience Competencies Required

• Diploma or Degree in 3D Design/Furniture Design/Product Design/Interior Design or any related field
• Experience in product related field with AutoCAD skills, Adobe CS skills (Photoshop, Illustrator etc) or knowledge in Sketchup
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong negotiating and planning skills, strong analytical problem solving and time management skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Possess multi-tasking skills and flexibility in handling multiple projects
• Responsible, creative, and able to work independently
• Be meticulous, team player and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadline in a fast-paced environment
• Fresh Graduates will be considered for the position.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive electrical circuit diagrams for automation and equipment systems.
• Assess, integrate, and validate hardware to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Produce CAD drawings depicting electrical circuits.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving issues with system assembly, operation, and testing.
• Aid in equipment setup, problem-solving, and occasional installation.
• Provide assistance in testing new hardware and applications in-house.

Requirements

• Experience in automation machine design, proficiency in Electrical Design Software, electrical/electronic circuits and test instrumentation
