Successful candidates will join the Business, Communication and Design (BCD) Cluster (one of five academic clusters in SIT) as members of a team of accomplished experts who are passionate about higher education and deeply involved in industry transformation through applied research programmes.

Faculty in the BCD Cluster undertake funded industry-relevant research, teach courses in Accounting, Air Transport Management, Digital Communications & Integrated Media, and Hospitality Business, as well as supervise industry masters and doctorate students in relevant topics. They are also provided paid leave to undertake consultancy work with industry and/or spend time attached with industry.

We will prioritise collegial and team-spirited candidates with either (a) an earned Ph.D. or equivalent from a reputable university with specialisation in any of the above-mentioned areas and some relevant work experience, or (b) extensive industry experience with demonstrated strong technical expertise in the above-mentioned areas.

• Lead and manage a team of 18 pax to support Set Design and Staging activities for all Mediacorp’s productions.
• Plan and assign manpower, external resources, manage overall budget, timeline and deliverables.

Qualifications

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop integrated campaigns and events that service a number of different audiences including (but not limited to) creative agencies, media agencies, marketing verticals (gaming, automotive, consumer, etc.), small to large sized businesses, and our global sales organization.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years’ experience as a Senior Art Director, Associate Creative Director at a digital agency, advertising agency, digital skew agency or an in-house team,
• Knowledge and proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects
• Working knowledge of Figma
• Ability to design motion graphics with basic animation capabilities.
• Experience designing for Print, Web, Responsive, and Mobile
• Presentation skills with working proficiency in PowerPoint and Keynote
• Experience in conceptualizing ideas from ideation to launch and developing creative assets across social media platforms.
• Experience in B2B marketing is a plus.

Our team at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) is looking at generative AI models for music. You will be joining our Audio, Music, and AI (AMAAI) Lab supervised by Prof. Dorien Herremans. At our lab, we aim to advance the state-of-the-art in AI for music and audio. You will be working on advancing the Mustango text-to-music model.

Ideal skillset:

• Strong knowledge of deep neural networks in PyTorch
• Interest in machine learning for audio
• Experience in NLP and computer vision
• Experience in Music Information Retrieval, ideally AI music generation and or audio transcription
• Interest or experience in music generation systems or audio classification systems
• Savvy programmer in PyTorch
• Creative problem solver with good academic writing skills
