Responsibilities:

· Participate in an in-house engineering squad for engineering excellence in design, development and operational of the Singapore Government Commercial Cloud Platform.

· Practice and lead other development communities to develop and deploy on Government Commercial Cloud.

· Opportunities to learn and implement large scale automation with cloud landing zone across multiple Cloud Service Providers in Government Context

· Responsible to develop and maintain the platform used by multiple government agencies.

· Be the guiding subject matter of expert for Devops methodologies, contribute to Automation, Availability, Scalability and Resiliency to the team and the development communities within government.

· This role has focus on development of API, backend automation in NodeJS/Python, code deployment security with various CICD toolchain such as Gitlab, Atlassian, Terraform.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in API/backend development and integration using NodeJS, Python

• Understand about cloud infrastructure deployment and automation.

• Lead a small team of software engineer before, doesn’t mind hands-on.

• Practitioner in agile development, secure pipelines and deployment automation

• Understand and willing to learn about Infrastructure as Code, Policies as Code and Git

• Familiar with cloud services such as AWS, Azure and GCP.

• Appreciate or willing to learn large-scaled distributed systems and their challenges.

• Familiar with code security and opensource tools in relevant domains.

Senior Support Engineer
The Senior Support Engineer is responsible for the support, operations and maintenance of the software applications. He/She should have a deep understanding of the maintenance objectives, targets and the application functionalities. He/She is responsible to interact, setting up and onboarding of end users. He/She works in a team setting and is proficient in applications development procedure, monitoring tools and techniques required. He/She is also familiar with the software platforms on which the solutions are implemented.

He/She is analytical in issue management, a good communicator and is focus on resolving issues based on priorities. He/She is able to assess, classify, prioritise, diagnose issues effectively in a collaborative manner and strive for continuous improvement and service excellence.

Provide software support

• Maintain a good knowledge base / FAQ for operational support
• Effectively assess, classify, prioritise, diagnose issues in a collaborative manner

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Diploma holders’ relevant experiences will be considered.

• Experience with various Singapore Government or Statutory IT compliance standards will be an advantage.

• Strong Database skills, including MS SQL and MySQL.
• Good understanding of App/Web Server, SQL Database, and Mobile development configuration and setup.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The executive engineer is responsible for the design, diagnostic, testing as well as repair and overhaul of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of the chillers and other related systems in support of our overall chiller manufacturing process. The engineer shall be required to independently plan, schedule, coordinate and optimize on-site and workshop activities and coordinate with the sales and marketing team where required.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, diagnose, test as well as repair and overhaul mechanical, electrical and electronic components of the chillers and other related systems

Spearhead digitization of existing chillers through selection, adoption and/or redesign of PCB & PLCs

Coordinate and liaise with internal production, sales & marketing team as well as external end customers, contractors and consultants on-site

Supervise and check suppliers’ works and/ or end customer requirements according to design drawings, specifications and regulation (local codes or relevant international design codes)

Check and ensure the equipment and material offered in compliance with the specification and drawings.

Generate engineering & electrical drawings with Autocad software

Perform all other duties as assigned and required.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.

At least 2 -3 year(s) of working experience in Electrical/Mechanical related fields is required for this position

Required Skill(s): Autocad, Microsoft Office

Licensed Electrical Engineer OR Licensed Electrical Technician is a bonus
