Job Description:

• Safely and efficiently perform all duties assigned and report to the OIM on the day-to-day management and long-range stewardship of the rig

SUMMARY:

Responsible for the safe, reliable and cost effective maintenance and repair of the fleet and facilities by effectively planning and managing the workshop resources to maximise efficiency and productivity, in the process ensuring that scheduled work is completed on time and within budget, making due allowance for effectively dealing with the unscheduled work that arises during the course of daily operations. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads multiple project teams of other software engineers and firmware engineers, including internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms from NPI through Sustaining.

About the Opportunity

The IT Engineer provides support to employees experiencing technical problems and performs troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, resolution, and escalations. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with system and server administration and virtualization experiences are required.
