Working Hours Coverage

COVERAGE HOURS

· Monday to Friday

· 9:00 – 18:00

· 8 working hour per shift defined by team manager within coverage hour above

· Extreme weather WFH/remote coverage

PAID OVERTIME WORK

· Required occasional non-office hours (weeknight, weekend & Holiday) paid overtime work on team rotation basis

• Overall project planning, schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget and Client’s

expectations.

• Monitoring progress and identifying critical activities to expedite smooth progress of works on site to meet

targets

• Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available

• Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.

• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts.

• Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans.

• Attend technical meeting with authorities and consultants

• Ensuring environmental, safety, and health practices are carried out at all times

Responsibilities:

· Identify new market opportunities and generate new sales leads

· Follow up on sales funnel and ensure successful completion of projects with prompt customer service and satisfaction

· Plan and develop sales plans to achieve sales objectives & monthly sales target

· Manage entire sales cycle from pre-sales discussion with customers, prepare quotations, negotiate orders, contract review to post-sales support

· Develop and conduct presentations explaining products and provide product knowledge to new and existing clientele

· Provide technical & sales support to key clientele like Architects, Lighting Consultants, Interior Designers, Landscape Designers and M&E Consultants

· Maintain and develop trusting long-term relationships with new and existing customers through understanding their business activity and needs

· Promote and represent the company professionally at trade exhibitions, events and product demonstrations

· Prepare reports and forecasts as and when requested by the management in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

· Minimum Diploma in any Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechanical/ Building Engineering

· 3-5 years of relevant working experience

· Lighting experience is not necessary but would be an asset with experience in lighting control

· Strong passion in sales and highly driven to achieve targets

· Enjoy working with a dynamic team and able to work confidently in a fast-paced environment

· Meticulous and ability to multi-task with good organisation skills

· Possess strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills

· Good problem-solving skills and ability to work as a team

As a Field Service Engineer at Honeywell Singapore, you will play a crucial role in the on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment and systems. Key Responsibilities:

Support On-Site Installation and Repair:

1. Lead the development and refinement of processes for the installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment on customer sites.
2. Ensure high-quality technical standards are maintained during all on-site activities.

Technical Presentations and Training:

1. Deliver technical presentations to customers, industry peers, and competitors.
2. Contribute to the creation and revision of work instructions and customer-facing training guides.
3. Educate customers and field technicians to ensure a comprehensive understanding of our products and services.

Documentation and Communication:

1. Write and maintain clear, concise documentation used by field technicians.
2. Utilize excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively convey information.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

1. Drive initiatives aimed at improving processes related to field services and product development.
2. Actively seek feedback and implement strategies for service enhancement.

Cross-Functional Support and Escalation Management:

1. Work with cross-functional groups to resolve administrative issues related to equipment delivery and installation.
2. Serve as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure swift resolution of complex issues.

Customer Service and Delivery:

1. Validate customer requests and ensure the Right and Fast Delivery of services. Uphold a commitment to excellent customer service throughout all service activities

MUST HAVE:

• Major in Chemical Engineer, Electrical Engineering, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Internship and/or relevant experiences in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Process Plants.
• Ability to work with clients in Jurong island area.
• Ability to standby and support upon request.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to provide quality documentation and effective training materials.

The Research Assistant will be expected to engage in projects around 5G Digital Telecommunication Platform for Cyber Exercises under the Future Communications R&D Programme (FCP) Office in SUTD. Additionally, he/she will also have teaching responsibilities and will be expected to assist in the supervision of graduate students in Cybersecurity. The candidate must be comfortable with both team and independent work, and possess a proven record of scientific excellence, personal initiative, and proficiency in communicating scientific findings in journals and at professional meetings. Excellent command of English is essential.

The position will be located within the Pillar of Information Systems Technology & Design at SUTD. The team will be supervised by Assoc Prof Binbin Chen and Yeaz Jaddoo respectively.

Required qualifications:

• MSc in Electrical/Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Applied Mathematics or equivalent disciplines;
• Research experience in either one of the following areas: Cybersecurity, Secure Software Engineering, or Machine Learning
• Excellent skills in programming (preferably Python). Fluency in modern distributed ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe)

We are seeking a highly motivated research assistant with a strong mathematical background who is interested to explore new research directions in neuro-symbolic methods, specifically on the interplay between deep learning and symbolic reasoning. The successful candidate can expect to help with the implementation of algebraic machine reasoning frameworks and will work closely with other team members.

The goal of this project is to develop a general neuro-symbolic reasoning framework for solving various reasoning tasks. The symbolic reasoning part of this framework shall be based on algebraic machine reasoning, a new reasoning paradigm built upon commutative algebra and computational algebra. The non-symbolic part of the framework shall primarily be based on deep learning, and could include vision models, language models, and multi-modal models.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor's in computer science.
• Strong programming experience and must be open to learning new things.
• Strong mathematical background, and is excited by the possibility of applying algebraic methods (e.g. in computational algebra) to problems in machine reasoning.
• Candidates with strong algebraic backgrounds or strong machine reasoning backgrounds are prioritized.
