• Set up and configure system databases, prepare control descriptions for Testing and Commissioning (T&C), ensuring all configurations are optimized for performance.
• Lead Factory Acceptance Testing to verify system functionality, compliance with project requirements, and quality standards.
• Provide hands-on support during installation, commissioning, and start-up phases. Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate systems on-site to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct in-depth troubleshooting and fault diagnosis across systems such as DCS, PLC, BAS, and SCADA to resolve issues and maintain smooth operation.
• Perform system testing, calibration, and fine-tuning to ensure systems operate at peak performance and meet specified requirements.
• Work closely with project managers, designers, and engineers to ensure projects are executed smoothly and on time. Communicate technical requirements and solutions effectively to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, or a related field.
• Proven experience in system configuration, design, and commissioning of DCS, PLC, BAS, and SCADA systems.

• Responsible for taking over the project from tender / sales team for execution
• Prepare PEPL’s Scope of work and create project schedule based on the scope - document submission list, material submission list, material lead time, installation and testing period
• Create Document submission & Material submission list and prepare submissions
• Design & review the drawings and documents for timely submission to customer
• Monitor submissions & follow up with customer for timely approval of the documents & material submissions
• Prepare Purchase Requisitions for purchase of necessary project materials on time and coordinate with purchase team and our subcontractor / supplier
• Plan the construction site manpower requirement together with Superintendent
• Coordinate with Superintendent / Construction Manager / Site supervisor for site work activities installation, testing & commissioning and progress report
• Maintain & update Project schedule regularly and prepare Weekly / Monthly Progress report for internal & customer

Requirement

Roles & Responsibilities

• Review requirements, design, develop, implement and maintain software applications for data acquisition and control systems with OT (including but not limited to OPC UA, BACnet, Modbus) and IT (including but not limited to MQTT, REST).
• Collaborate closely with system engineers and system integrators to ensure seamless integration of software components with existing systems.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure software quality and reliability - benchmark and optimize performance as necessary.

Requirements

• Architectural masters/degree recognized by Board of Architects Singapore.
