What will you do?

• Part of the project Enterprise Information Management team to take on the exciting and challenging role of delivering and maintaining an agency-wide data warehouse and analytics project using AGILE software development methodology.
• Maintain the organisation’s data warehouse and analytics platforms on both on-premise data centre as well as on cloud.
• Develop automation code for testing and deployment using Azure DevOps, Git and various testing tools for the data platforms.
• Liaise with both vender and inhouse team on data warehouse and analytics development platform including SQL databases, MS Sharepoint, Power BI, Tableau, Aurora PostgresSQL and Machine Learning applications on agency data centre.
• Perform automated deployments to existing or new infrastructure environments
• Build continuous integration and delivery pipeline for applications.
• Provide production support and operation for the system during office hours or as and when required after office hours or on weekends for scheduled maintenance and deployments.
• Work with the team to support existing system and integration of new components in the system.
• Maintain existing infrastructure which includes Windows-based servers, SQL databases, Power BI, Sharepoint, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Machine Learning Server.
• Plan, design, build and maintain development environment which includes SSIS, .net, Visual basic, SSMS, etc.
• Liaise with 3rd party software, hardware and application vendors to manage and resolve incidents and technical issues.

What are we looking for?

• Tertiary Education in relevant fields is preferred.
• Hands on experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD platform, such as Azure DevOps, Git/Github or other related CI/CD tools.
• Hands on experience in writing automation scripts for automated deployment for ETL packages, database tables, and analytics programs using R and Python.
• Hands on experience in design, implementation, administration and support of data platforms such as SQL and Aurora Postgres database. Related certifications will be an advantage.
• Hands on experience in setting up and maintaining a data warehouse/lake solution on the cloud and in a data centre.
• Hands on experience in supporting Microsoft technologies, preferably for Business Intelligence and data management using tools such as Microsoft SQL SSIS, Power BI, R, SharePoint.

Experience in one or more of the following:

a) Building CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Sonarqube, Fortify and Nexus

b) Building data pipelines using Python, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

c) Unix scripts for secure file transfers

d) Data security

e) Secure code review, Automated Testing

f) Big Data platform, AWS S3

g) Maintaining visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and Machine Learning applications

h) Server Virtualisation (VMWare VSphere family of products) and container technology

i) Data Virtualisation technology

j) Agile continuous integration tools

Connect Energy partners with a Maritime company to look for a PROJECT ENGINEER to based in their Singapore office.

This position is to assist the technical team in managing document control for the MOPU's (Production Rigs), FSO's, Flag and Class Certifications, Insurance Certificates. This role will also assist in preparing technical requirements, liase with contractors and suppliers, review invoices and purchase orders and requests.

Major Responsibilities

• Manage Document Control System
• Support technical and engineering personnel with project support duties.
• Compiles technical reports
• Provides input to technical reports, project planning
• Produces accurate statistics, relevant figures
• Undertakes data analysis, identifies and investigate variations
• Prepares technical drawings, datasheets and documents under the diretion of the Technical lead
• Develop and maintain technical databases and spreadsheets
• Sources technical documents, information and drawings.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering
• 3 - 5 years relevant experience in engineering and project management role in marine industry that focus on FSO / MOPU or equivalent.
• Excellent skills in MS application
• Advance use of MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, MS Project
• Meticulous in work.

Job Description

• Be responsible for managing day to day lifting operations
• Plan, organize, supervise and liaise closely with sub-contractors and operation teams on all ongoing lifting activities
• Conduct routine checks and inspections of works on site to ensure compliance with authorities' and client’s requirements

Requirements

• Must have IES certificate
• Must have at least 3 years of experience as lifting Engineer
• Able to start work with short notice

Perform servicing on electronics equipment and testing using Multimeter and other instruments

Provide troubleshooting, repair, maintenance on Printed Circuit Board ( PCB ) , power supply & electroincs equipment

Perform electronics & electrical functional testing

Figure out and replace electronics faulty components, using soldering iron, sucker with proper type of spare parts replacements

Install electronics part into specified locations using proper hand tools and specifications

Perform documentation for repair success rate and spare parts inventory

Job Requirement:

Minimum NTC-3 in Electronics /Electrical related field; prefer Electronics related will be added advantage

Minimum 2-3 years of Electronics/electrical repair and experience in good soldering skill , repair of power supply, PCB

Strong knowledge of electrical circuit theory and advance soldering skills

Great interpersonal and customer service skills

Good logical thinking and attention to details
