Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the IT Operations team, managing IT infrastructure and services, including end-user computing.
• Oversee and govern IT infrastructure services provided by outsourcing partners and managed service providers, including contracts and billing matters.
• Manage or participate in infrastructure-related projects and solutions, such as technology refreshes, upgrades, migrations, and building new IT infrastructure capabilities.
• Perform daily business-as-usual (BAU) tasks, including incident management, fulfilment of service requests, change requests, and application support.
• Collaborate with relevant departments and users to lead IT disaster recovery (DR) coordination, recovery strategy, planning, and execution.
• Assist with IT audit management and related matters.
• Ensure that all delivery and solutions comply with internal policies, procedures, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to and document IT Operations procedures and standards as needed in the knowledge base.
• Manage system and network patching, as well as capacity and performance management.
• Assess system performance and recommend improvements.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of strong hands-on technical experience in IT infrastructure and IT operations.
• Good understanding of key technologies such as Microsoft Windows Server, Azure Cloud, End User Computing, Active Directory, Virtualization, Networking, Backup/Recovery, and Security tools.
• Work experience in the Financial Services Industry (Banking & Insurance) and knowledge of MAS Technology Risk Management (TRM) is advantageous.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Azure Cloud, Networking, Security) are a plus.
• Proficiency in ITIL and ITSM; some project management experience is beneficial.
• Strong experience in managing internal stakeholders, end users, and vendors.
• Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
