Job Description:

• To liaise and inspect with the Main Contractors Engineer/Supervisor.
• Supervision & Inspection Piling, ERSS, Deep Excavation & precast work with approved dwg, specifications, rules & regulations.
• Carry out supervision and fully responsible for all structural works carried out according to approved drawings
• To monitor the progress of structural inspection on all Structural works according to the approved drawings.
• To check and monitor the Structural and Architectural works according to the contract drawings, specifications, approved shop drawings, and method of statements
• To provide wherever and whenever necessary standing supervision for the construction of civil and structural works per the Project specifications, construction drawings, and Building Control Act and Regulations.
• In Charge of RTO and their duties
• To oversee all aspects relating to the construction of the Project.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university and registered with IES/ACES as a Resident Engineer
• Registered RE with IES
• Minimum 5 years experience as Resident Engineer in precast high-rise residential building projects.
• Knowledgable with local authority’s regulations and requirements (BCA)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducted Managed and solved technical issues escalated from sites related to instrumentation and monitoring
• Managed site to maintain project timely executed, liaised with LTA, QPS team & design team for project design and requirement matters.
• Monitoring work progress & generate geotechnical instrumentation reports.
• Attend technical meetings with Clients, Contractors, and Consultants.
• Site evaluation of soil, rock, fault distribution, and geological studies on site to determine their engineering properties
• Conducted interpretation of actual soil conditions and test results and oversaw all excavation works (Cut-and-cover tunnel, slope, shaft, pipe jacking, etc.)

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of engineering geology experience with a Degree in Geology or Engineering Geology.
• Have experience in roles of geologist / instrumentation-monitoring engineer for deep excavation projects of similar scale and client, nature, and complexity, with knowledge of similar weathered granite deposits and ability to work under confined conditions (under tunnel roof slab)
• Well-versed in Civil Projects

The Opportunity

• Driving operation readiness and resolving the production issues in Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK)
• Capacity planning and analysis for elasticsearch
• Perform health checks of Elasticsearch clusters and indices on a regular basis

Responsibilities

• Work with outsourced service providers and product principals to manage the delivery, operations as well as Tech Refresh for Microsoft suite of services:o Microsoft 365 (such as Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online,Teams, Viva etc.)

o Dynamics 365 including Power BI, Power Automate and Power Platform

o MS Enterprise Mobility Suite (Intune, MCAS Azure Information Protection)

Using levitation, we can isolate and control physical systems with unprecedented precision. The rapidly evolving field of levitodynamics studies how these can be used as quantum sensors, and for tests of fundamental physics. Most levitated systems are limited to small masses (nano/microgram). They also involve incoherent optical interactions which scatter rather than reflect light. Thus, these cannot take advantage of the well-developed optical toolbox of interferometry, optical feedback, and quantum squeezed light.

Our group is pioneering a new class of levitated system enabling coherent optical interaction, and milligram masses. We are pursuing this in a range of platforms leveraging diamagnetic, superconducting, and optical levitation. This could allow us to create ultra precise quantum sensors and investigate the deepest outstanding questions in physics such as quantum collapse mechanisms and quantum gravity.

We are seeking research engineers to help us build these new systems. There are a number of areas where you could contribute, including
