Responsibilities

• Liase with Architects, Clients and other Consultants for the design of structural and civil Engineering works.
• Design , coordinate, manage and supervise the civil & structural project that has been assigned.
• Perform structural analysis and design including drafting in building or any structures as required by the project.
• Liase with clients & consultants to meet C & S requirements for submissions to local authorities.
• Coordinate to ensure civil and structural requirements is meet for project tender,submission and construction schedule.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• 1-2 experience in Structural Design and able to work independently will be preferred.
• Entry Level Candidate without experience are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge in AutoCad & Structural Software e.g. STAAD. Pro, Orion, Esteem, MidasGen, STRAP, etc will be advantage.
• Good positive working attitude, self-motivated and responsible.
• Salary will be commensurate based on working experience.

Tunnel Engineer

Required to be experienced in operations of TBM machine, excavation and ring building.

• Prepare method statements, safe work procedures, risk registers, tunnel progress reports, and other tunnel-related documentation.
• Prepare and carry out the presentation of tunneling works prior to the commencement of works.
• Plan and monitor and track site progress, manpower mobilization, and equipment deployment.
• Conduct daily site inspection and supervision of bored tunneling works.
• Supervision work on a TBM machine controlling the tunnel labor in excavation and ring build.
• Maintain site records of excavated volumes, grouting records, and other construction work.
• Liaise with authorities, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on tunnel projects.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans.
• Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients.
• Gathering data, compiling reports, and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.
• Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions where required.
• Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.
• Act as the main technical adviser for tunnel projects.
• Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.
• Oversee the selection and requisition of materials.
• Oversee quality control and health and safety matters for tunnel project.

The Site Engineer will be managing different parts of construction projects, supervising crew members, preparing estimates for time and material costs, completing quality assurance, observing health and safety standards, and compiling reports for different stakeholders. • Carry out day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors - this is site-specific and may not be the case on all projects.
