This role will manage the finance, accounting and other areas as highlighted below and report into the regional finance director based in Singapore.

You should have strong controllership, FP&A business partnering and people management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage departmental operating budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources.
• Oversee the financial management, accounting and reporting in the country, including implementation of finance frameworks, policies and processes in accordance with local/international accounting standards.

• Formulate investment strategies, hedging policies and cash management practices (including optimal transaction banking infrastructure) to maximize yields, cost savings and efficiencies.
• Drive continuous improvements in accounting, reporting and internal control processes/systems to improve value given to stakeholders.
• Partner with and support the Country Senior Leadership Team on all matters related to finance, corporate initiatives/projects and cross-Business Unit activities.
• Present the consolidated financial reports and analyses to key stakeholders for decision making, with recommendations on accounting treatment.
• Manage annual target setting process within local business.
• Ensure implementation of global templates, coordinate timetable for reviews, consolidate plans and prepare annual budget presentation.
• Monitor and provide analysis on country monthly performance based on various data sources to derive a consistent picture of current performance, key issues, and action items.
• Manage local business continuous improvement initiatives to streamline Business Unit controlling processes/reporting and improve efficiencies through a better utilization of automated systems.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducting Reliability Analysis: Perform data analysis, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and root cause analysis to identify potential failures, their impact, and underlying causes.

We are looking for a General Ledger candidate to take ownership of our financial operations across India and Indonesia. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our general ledger.

Core Responsibilities

1) Financial Accounting and Reporting

• Approve and review journal entries, including Blackline journal reconciliations, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review the trial balance and general ledger entries for India and Indonesia, ensuring alignment with accounting standards (India GAAP, IFRS) and tax laws.
• Oversee financial reporting processes, including preparation and review of annual financial statements.
• Support quarterly reporting for advance tax calculations by providing accurate balance sheet and P&L statements to the tax team.

2) Audit and Compliance

• Handle statutory audits for India and Indonesia, including planning, coordinating with auditors, and addressing queries.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, global processes, and company policies.
• Collaborate with legal and tax teams to provide data and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Work closely with tax, transfer pricing, legal, AP, and treasury teams on various processes, including GST filings, transfer pricing adjustments, and legal compliance.

3) Operational Oversight

• Collaborate with the treasury team for activities such as capital injections, foreign payments, and cash flow management.
• Monitor and handle the physical invoices received in India, ensuring proper reporting and sharing with regional teams.
• Review and report employee expense forms (TEM forms) to ensure compliance with policies.
• Provide support for ad-hoc requests, including certificates and documentation for tax and legal teams.

4) Process Improvement and Problem Solving

• Identify and implement solutions and processes to address unique local requirements (e.g. India-specific requirements) while aligning with global and regional processes
• Proactively address ad-hoc requests and design solutions for issues related to accounting, tax, and regulatory compliance.

Within BSO, the GL team is responsible for the maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of the consolidation reports and meeting the global tax and statutory compliance requirements. Do you have what it takes?

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• Min degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance or related.
• Min 5 years of audit and/or financial controlling experience with proven experience with India’s local statutory and accounting regulations, preferably in a global MNC environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards (IndAS) and IFRS, with thorough understanding of theoretical and practical aspects of accounting and compliance.
• Familiarity with company law, GST, income tax, FEMA, and other regulatory frameworks in India and Indonesia.
• Proficiency in financial systems, including SAP and Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to run tight deadlines.

Senior Admin Manager (Specialised in Vehicle Import and Export )

A Senior Admin Manager/ Senior Admin Executive who can handle full set of export and import of vehicle fleets and compliance with LTA rules and regulations.

Here are the detailed roles and responsibilities associated with the position:

1. Export and Import of Vehicle Fleet

• Coordination of Fleet Export/Import: Responsible for managing the entire process of importing and exporting vehicle fleets, including paperwork, logistics and coordination with customs, transport agencies, and freight forwarders.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, national,international laws and regulations related to vehicle import and export (such as tariffs, taxes, duties, import/export documentation and environmental standards).
• Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for all vehicle imports and exports, including:
