NUS is looking for a Research Fellow to work on a Microgrid model integrating hydrogen fuel cells.

The job requires the candidate to design and implement systems for the efficient transmission and distribution of power generated from centralized hydrogen energy hubs. This project involves both AC/DC power transmission and the reinforcement of pipelines for hydrogen distribution, enabling decentralized power generation. Job Description

This project will study and propose feasible solution to retrofit existing coastal protection structures. Special feature of this proposed solution is that it must be able to reduce seawater seepage, using innovative way of impervious material. The solution must also be modular in nature, such that it can be stack onto the existing seawall or the previously installed layer.

Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonisation was established as a non-profit organisation in August 2021 following the recommendation of the International Advisory Panel for Maritime Decarbonisation established by Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore in 2020. The mission of this centre is to help the maritime industry eliminate its greenhouse gas emissions by shaping standards, deploying solutions, financing projects and fostering collaboration across sectors.
