Job Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and management of clinical studies to ensure demonstration of the safety, performance, and benefits of a medical device and adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements

• PhD or Degree in relevant field, preferably in medicine, biology, pharmacy, or chemistry degree

• Demonstrated ability to translate scientific, clinical and safety research studies in an effective credible manner

The SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute (SDGHI) is an enabling platform for global health activities across the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre (AMC). The Institute aims to address current and emerging health challenges across ASEAN member states and in other Asian countries. We are currently recruiting an Education Associate I to provide support to the Education core as it continues to ramp up efforts in the global health education space both in Singapore and regionally. The responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

• Support the coordination and administration of graduate-level courses offered through the Education core, including development of syllabi, selection of learning materials, development of teaching materials, maintenance of learning management system, and communication with lecturers
• Collaborate in the development of learning experiences for learners across the AMC, including Global Health webinars and seminars, targeted educational offerings for specific groups of learners (e.g. students, medical residents, specialists, etc.)

Role:

As a Lead ML Engineer, you will play a leading role in operationalizing ML Models developed by CLIENT’s data scientists. You will serve as the focal point for ML model refactoring, optimization, containerization, deployment, and quality monitoring. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Conduct reviews for compliance of the ML models in accordance with overall platform governance principles such as versioning, data / model lineage, code best practices and provide feedback to data scientists for potential improvements
• Develop pipelines for continuous operation, feedback and monitoring of ML models leveraging best practices from the CI/CD vertical within the MLOps domain. This can include monitoring for data drift, triggering model retraining and setting up rollbacks.
• Optimize AI development environments (development, testing, production) for usability, reliability and performance.
• Have a strong relationship with the infrastructure and application development team in order to understand the best method of integrating the ML model into enterprise applications (e.g., transforming resulting models into APIs).

Technical Skills

• At least 3 years of experience as a ML Engineer, working with Python, ML libraries, and large-scale data processing framework.

• Experience in working with ML libraries such as Panda, NumPy, H2O, or TensorFlow.
• Experience in working with large-scale data processing framework, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Dask.

The National University of Singapore invites applications for 5 Research Fellow positions in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Appointments will be made on a 2 years contract basis.

The Department of Diagnostic Imaging (DDI) is the clinical service department in the National University Hospital (NUH). With the formation of the National University Health System (NUHS), both clinical and academic departments come under a common governing structure. NUHS was incorporated on 23 January 2008 to integrate education, research and clinical care.

Purpose of the post

The PI lab aims to develop in vitro diagnostics, in vivo imaging and nanobiotechnology with emphasis on molecular imaging tools and drug and gene delivery techniques. The Visiting Fellows will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and the team members to undertake independent and/or collaborative research and to lead on aspects of research strategy within the lab.

The Research Fellow will be able to:

1. Independently undertake advanced research in the relevant discipline area using, or developing, the appropriate methods and/or techniques;
2. Lead and promote activities designed to develop collaborative research with research colleagues and support staff internally and to actively develop appropriate external contacts and networks relevant future collaboration and funding opportunities; Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and record keeping in accordance with policies and procedures;
3. Assist with any other duties of a similar nature that are delegated by the PI.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. or M.D. (preferably in biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, radiology or biomedical engineering), with previous experience in designing research projects. A detailed knowledge of molecular imaging probes and/or nanomedicine is mandatory. Ability to design and perform scientific work independently and collaboratively is a must, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience with chemistry and radiochemistry, cell culture, animal handling, small animal imaging, and translational research is highly preferred but not required. Motivation and drive to work hard and learn new skills are most important.

• Mon-Fri 12pm-8pm, Sat 9am-230pm
• Location: Bedok, Yew Tee, Keat Hong (Close to CCK) and Punggol East
• Salary: $2500 - $2800
• Expected start work: End Dec 2024

Job Description:

1. Plan and conduct tuition classes at Primary and Secondary subjects.
2. Must be able to teach multiple subjects such as Math + Sciences or English language / Chinese language.

Requirements:

• Preferably Bachelor degree.
• With student care teacher experiences preferred.
