Your main job responsibility is to develop and plan early childhood programmes for the children in the centre:

Support the learning and development of infants and toddlers through interactive and stimulating experiences.

Responsible for implementing and execution of classroom and outdoor activities and ensuring a safe, conducive learning environment for the children.

Complete lesson evaluations / reflection. Communicate with families on their child's progress and development.

Maintain proper children's record and prepare child's portfolio for Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM).

Maintain record keeping for centre's operation purpose - audit, licensing, tracking, monitoring. Active participation and sharing of ideas, suggestions, learning, concerns and challenges during meetings.

Provide coverage duties for staff on leave and other adhoc duties. Plan and carry out events, excursions, workshops, collaborations with community etc.

Job Requirements:

Must have attained Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care and Development (CIT) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) / Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY). Registered with Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). Have a valid certificate in first aid recognised by ECDA. Preferably have infant care experience in a pre-school setting. Demonstrate good communication skills. Adequate knowledge of current early childhood care and education development theories, research and practices possess classroom management skills and able to handle children's temperaments. Possess the necessary skills to plan, execute and evaluate appropriate developmental lessons.

The Radiant Spectrum is a music enrichment school for children and adults with special needs in Singapore. We work passionately with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), intellectual disability (ID), selective mutism, speech delay, tics, and more.

Job Scope:

• Conduct music enrichment sessions in an individual or small group setting for individuals with special needs
• Prepare weekly lesson plans
• Monitor and record the student's progress
• Communicate effectively with parents

Requirements:

• Music qualification
• Music teaching experience
• Patient, nurturing, and deeply empathetic of individuals with special needs
• Cheerful and positive personality
• No prior experience working with special needs children is needed. Training will be provided.

Working Hours and Location:

• 5 day week (Saturday, Sunday, and 3 weekdays)
• 10 Anson Road, International Plaza (next to Tanjong Pagar MRT)
