MODEC Is looking for a Topsides Engineering Coordinator, to work from our offices in Singapore. We are looking for somebody who can apply Project knowledge, Engineering knowledge and experience to coordinate the engineering and design of a project and support the fabrication, installation, commissioning and startup of facilities and equipment/ utilities interface associated with the conversion and outfitting of FSO / FPSO tankers, conversion of MOPU jack-ups for production operations or deep water TLP projects. The incumbent shall be capable of deputizing for the Topsides Engineering Manager in case of the latter's absence

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline with 15 years of relevant experience or Masters' degree in any engineering discipline with minimum 13 years of relevant experience.
Experience as Topsides Engineering Coordinator with at least one FPSO project in the EPCI phase.
Specialist knowledge of at least one MODEC or related project line or basic knowledge of multiple technologies, projects and applications. Working knowledge of competing and alternative technologies.
Have adequate knowledge of design codes and regulatory requirements.
Familiar in use of Software, Database systems related to Engineering functions.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate with the engineering disciplines assigned to the project and work closely with project management, procurement, HSE, QA/QC, operations and construction team for preparation of deliverables meeting the quality and safety requirements.

- Coordinate with the engineering disciplines to set up Engineering and Design systems, Engineering Schedule, Master document Register (MDR), Procurement Schedule

- Coordinate with the engineering disciplines to issue all deliverables on schedule

- Work with the project planner to develop Level 3 and Level 4 engineering schedules

- Implement engineering change management for the Topsides engineering post design freeze in all disciplines including communication, tracking and approval by the relevant stakeholders

- Coordinate with the Detailed Engineering subcontractors and Third Party specialists for Topsides

- Support Topsides Engineering Manager in forecasting and mobilizing engineering and design resources for Topsides Engineering

- Ensure compliance with Company’s Standards and Procedures with specific attention to change management and deviation approval process

- Independently develop solutions to non-recurring problems by analyzing, interpreting and evaluating various precedents and data Anticipate potential problems and take preventive actions

- Support Engineering Manager project management in review, risk assessment, and close-out of engineering issues

- To be adequately familiar with the key activities and needs of all the engineering disciplines and how these activities interact and are sequenced, and the implications is a major challenge

The Senior Chemical Engineer will work on designing, tendering, and monitoring the installation of bulk chemical and high purity chemical systems for industrial facilities in semiconductors, electronics, biopharma, and related industries. The gas systems include bulk chemicals, high-purity chemicals, slurries, and related distribution networks.

The Senior Chemical Engineer will collate the client’s capacity requirements and specifications and prepare the conceptual design, make a detailed design for system capacity, configuration, schematic, P&ID, PFD, layout, distribution, and system parameters, and prepare documents like the scope of work, reports, pecifications, standards, logistics, and detailed drawings for tender.

The Prospective Candidate will review proposals from contractors and continue to support them during installation when required. Duties to Be Performed:

The Senior Structural Engineer will work on Civil and Structural designs to support all life cycle of a projects from feasibility study to design and up to as-built of industrial buildings and structures. The Structural Engineer will work together with Architects to design, detailing of R.C.C & steel structures and Underground RCC structures of semiconductor fabrication plants, electronics plants, biopharma plants, and other industrial projects.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is seeking a candidate at the rank of Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) in the area of microelectronics devices and technologies. The candidate is expected lead active and externally funded research program and collaborative research with colleagues in other disciplines to address challenges that achieve scientific and societal impact are encouraged. Besides research, the candidate is also expected to contribute actively to teaching and service roles at the Department, College, or University level.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have an earned doctorate in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering or an allied field. Candidates must have an established track record in research.

1. Work on construction site supervisiong landed residential housing projects.
2. Planning, scheduling & control of manpower & material.
3. Prepare works program, schedulling, monitoring progress and prepare progress reports.
4. Manage group of construction workers.
5. Supervise subcontractors and conduct QC checks.
6. Prepare shop drawings, method statements, proposals & technical submissions.
7. Knowledge & experience in AutoCad and MS Project.
8. Implement site safety measures & controls and liaise with Authorities.
9. Implement covid safe management measures.
10. Attend meetings and liaise with clients & consultants.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Provide Quality Operation support on the production floor.
• Work closely with production personnel on the investigation of root causes of non-conformance and procedural failures
• Participate/Perform discrepant material disposition.
• Ensure corrective actions are in place and implemented for all non-conformances detecte
• Manage a team of Quality Inspectors.
• To review and approve required specifications and revisions in documentation prior releasing for production or customer
• Participate in problem solving and root cause analysis using standardized investigation tools.
• To review and approve process routers prior to releasing for production
• To prepare monthly quality & HSE non-conformance analysis and KPI report
• To review and approve process routers prior to releasing for production

• Review and analyze Quality Indicators and collaborate with manufacturing department to proactively resolve non conformances and operational issues.
• To conduct process audit and internal quality audit
• Process inspection on sub-contract suppliers and maintenance of Approved Vendor List (AVL)
• Responsible for ensuring work is carried out in accordance with documented procedures
• Actively participate in development of HSE matters in areas of hazard / incident identifications, risk assessments and determination of controls

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma/Bachelor degree in Precision Engineering, Mechanical Quality, Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum3years of Quality Assurance experience.
• Strong knowledge and skill in CMM programming.
• Great Interpersonal skills and customer oriented.
• Good initiative and a fast learner with good orginizing skills.

Responsibilities:

• Ferrying our workers between the dormitories and the worksite, or from pickup points to the worksite, during the change shift period in the morning and/or evening. • Other duties include daily vehicle maintenance, cleanliness and sending it for servicing when needed. • Ad-hoc tasks such as ferrying staff, running deliveries etc. may be given during your work shift.• Loading and unloading of goods onto vehicle according to delivery order • Perform pickups and collection for the company covering specific areas • Ensuring safe receipt, retrieval, and dispatching of goods • Delivering goods to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner • Establishing and maintaining excellent customer service during delivery • To perform duties as tasked • Class 4 Driving Licence • Must be able to work the night shift or split shift • Must be able to work extra hours or weekends if needed

Responsibilities

• Responsible for attending the customer complaints and develop resolution
• Responsible in planning and coordinating with the Production on non-conformance product screening as well as conducting containment measures and minimizes DMR issued by customers
• Responsible for providing engineering support to Internal Departments related to quality and technical issues

Requirements

• Min Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
• Min 1 years of working experience in process or fixture designs
