Duties to Perform

The senior Gas Engineer will work on designing, tendering, and monitoring the installation of bulk gas and special gas systems for industrial properties in semiconductors, electronics, biopharma, and related industries. The gas systems include bulk gases, high-purity inert gases, flammable gases, corrosive gases, hazardous gases, and related distribution networks.

The senior Gas Engineer will collate the client’s capacity requirements and specifications and prepare the conceptual design, make a detailed design for system capacity, configuration, schematic, P&ID, PFD, layout, distribution, and system parameters, and prepare documents like the scope of work, reports, specifications, standards, logistics, and detailed drawings for tender. He or she will review proposals from contractors and continue to support them during installation when required.

Job / Skills Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Facility Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in space management, drafting, or facility planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in CAD software and space management tools. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a leadership role within a drafting or engineering environment.
• Knowledge of industry best practices in space planning and management.
• Able to Travel/ Relocate

Job description:

• Responsible for contract documentation
• Responsible for taking off measurement and preparation of tender submission
• Responsible for handling running project
• Review the subcontractor’s quotation for completeness
• Responsible for filing of respective project documents
• Assist and perform all tasks assigned by respective superior
• Ensure the return of duly signed subcontractor/supplier agreement/works order
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior

Job Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying and Building or equivalent with 2 years relevant experiences in construction or equivalent
• Process good knowledge of the market updates and construction cost trend
• Good communication and negotiable skill
