1)Cost management

-Preparing and managing budgets for construction projects

Requirements:

Education:

A Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Electrical and instrumentation Engineering, or Pharmaceutical field.

Skills:

1. Technical Knowledge:

Proficient in Electrical and Instrumentation work estimation and cost control techniques.

Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and standards.

Understanding of building contracts

2. Software Proficiency:

Experience with QS-specific software like CostX, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or Candy.

Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools like Revit.

3. Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Attention to detail and ability to foresee project risks.

4. Communication and Negotiation:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to negotiate effectively with stakeholders.

The Project team is currently looking for a suitable candidate to join us as a Project Engineers (Mechanical) to drive the ongoing and new projects in the company.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and co-ordination, preparation of submission documents.
• Coordinate, liaise and manage various project stakeholders including customers, consultants, sub- contractors, vendors, etc. on site to ensure project requirements are met.
• Able to communicate effective to all stakeholders.
• Prepare and create detail work schedule, manpower and resource planning.
• Able to understand Engineering drawings and perform basic engineering calculations, design, etc.
• Coordinate the safety management system on site.
• Follow up and reporting on the project progress.
• Able to understand Singapore standards or Code of Practice.
• All other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by reporting manager.
• Work location Singapore Island wide

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• For experience candidates, preferably to possess minimum 2 years relevant experience in the Construction / Industrial Engineering industry. Open to candidates with no previous working experience.
• Experience in design ACMV / Piping and Piping Structural Support/ Ducting
• Experience in manufacturing plant construction, Data Centre fit-out works, etc.
• Outgoing with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and target oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact effectively with project members and managers at all levels.

Candidates who have relevant Project Management Supervisory experience may be considered for Senior Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager role.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for site supervision and coordination work
• Assist Project Manager / Site Engineer in the daily execution of work
• To perform job estimations, drawings, site surveys, etc
• Monitor, control, and coordinate site work with the operations team as well as sub-contractors
• Ensure that the works are carried out following the project quality, safety plan, and contract requirements, including drawings and specifications
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• To update daily work done for all jobs
• Delegate the works and control the projects within the budget and schedule
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirement:

• Minimum 5 years and above of relevant working experience in Main Construction
• High integrity with good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills/team player
• Able to work under pressure and meet the demands of the job
• Preffered to have Driving licence
• 6 days work week due to construction site requirement

4. Provide driving licence and pick worker from dormitory to site and site to dormitory

5. Able to work night shift

6. Submit worker report to office

7. Keep record for worker time card and submit office every 15 days for salary calculation

8. Submit work progress report to office for prepare progress claim.
