Supervision of Installation:

• Oversee the installation of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Monitor the work of contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality and adherence to project schedules.

Site Coordination:

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other supervisors to facilitate effective communication and workflow on-site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, quality, and safety of M&E installations.

Quality Control:

• Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the reliability and functionality of M&E systems.
• Review and approve M&E work completion, ensuring all installations meet regulatory standards and project requirements.

Problem Solving:

• Identify and troubleshoot any issues related to M&E systems during installation and commissioning.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and contractors as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of installation activities, inspections, and testing results.
• Prepare progress reports and updates for project management and stakeholders.

Job Requirement

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in M&E supervision within the construction industry.
• Proven track record in managing M&E installations for large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and managing on-site operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation and Budgeting:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical and electrical works at various project stages, including feasibility, design, and construction.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and monitoring of costs.

Tendering and Procurement:

• Prepare tender documents, including bill of quantities, specifications, and scope of work for M&E contracts.
• Evaluate tenders, conduct negotiations with contractors, and make recommendations for contract awards.

Contract Management:

• Review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, and manage any variations or claims.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, final accounts, and related documentation to clients and contractors.

Cost Control and Reporting:

• Monitor project expenditures and performance against budgets, identifying any deviations and implementing corrective actions.
• Provide regular cost reports and financial forecasts to project management and stakeholders.

Site Visits and Assessments:

• Conduct site visits to assess progress, quality of work, and compliance with design specifications.
• Liaise with project teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to M&E works.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on mechanical and electrical projects in the construction industry.
• Proven track record of managing costs and contracts effectively in complex construction environments.
• Experience in preparing cost estimates and managing project budgets for M&E systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish BIM implementation strategy, requirements, process, workflow and needs for construction projects.
• Optimise design and downstream construction processes through the implementation of BIM and VDC concepts beyond 3-D modelling and conflict resolution.
• Plan, manage and maintain the 3-D BIM data and complexity of content to meet project deliverable requirements.
• Embrace a holistic approach and strategically plan for BIM execution in green building projects.
• Manage all drawings (e.g. Shop drawings, Layout Plans drawings and As-Built drawings) with all respective trades (e.g. Architectural, Structural, MEP and Specialist Sub-contractors works), as well as to resolve all design issues and de-conflict clashes in BIM drawings.
• Lead and support the projects’ BIM Team(s) including managing of sub-contractors’ BIM Team(s).
• Attend and chair design technical meetings with Clients, Consultants and Sub-contractors.
• Engage project teams to innovate and leverage advanced tools to solve project problems.
• Assist the QS department in variation order claims related to design changes.
• Develop a training program for design managers and engineers to improve the use of BIM authoring tools.
• Any other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree / Master in Architecture / Engineering / Construction or relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of local working experience in the related field with at least 6 years of hands-on experience in handling BIM projects.
• Trained and proficient in AutoCAD, Revit / BIM software in Architectural / Structural / MEP and other visualization and simulation applications.
• Experience in implementing the BIM adoption of design authoring and collaboration technology tools in construction projects.
• Good understanding of the Singapore Construction Industry regulations (e.g. Building code, BCA, URA and LTA).
• Experience in leading a BIM Team in Shop drawing production, coordination and document control.
• A positive team leader with good judgment, prompt decision-making abilities and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidate with knowledge in Specialist trade works (e.g. Curtainwall, Stone and Interior Design works) will be an added advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review project plans and specifications, prepare ITP plan and checklist.
• Conduct material and installation quality checking, issue QC report.
• Assist to monitor projects towards timely completion according to schedule
• Prepare and expedite project deficiency lists
• Supervise architectural works, and coordinate with sub-contractors & clients on QA/QC matters, ensure the architectural workmanship are according to standard

Requirements:

• Diploma or ITE Certificate in Architecture, Civil Engineering, M&E Engineering, or higher qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the building façade related field
• Familiar with office and AutoCAD software.
