Rules & Responsibility:
The Operation Manager is responsible for the successful initiation of the project, plans and organizes project schedule and resources, manages the project timelines and budget and attends to customer issues to ensure that the project is effectively and efficiently executed meeting the specifications and standards.
Assist the commercial team in the estimation of accurate costing of the project, factoring in the man hours, materials, completion time and any other unforeseen factors.
(a) Determine the project specifications after studying the project deliverables, customer requirements,
(b) Determine project responsibilities by identifying the project requirements and plan the resources for the project, taking into consideration the knowledge and skills of the project members when deploying the resources
(c) Plan and conduct the project kick-off meeting to officially start the project.
(d) Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, keeping in touch with the project team and resolving problems
(e) Prepare project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends and recommending actions
(f) Attend to issues raised by the client and if necessary involve the stakeholders
(g) Maintain good working relationship with the client throughout the project
(h) Supervise, coach and guide the team and ensure that they meet the stipulated project targets and other company goals
(i) Instilling a culture of continuous improvement in system & processes, operations, project delivery, quality and cost management
(j) Drive the transformation of employee mindset and shaping of employee behaviour to achieve alignment towards Companyโs vision and values.
(k) Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.
