• Conduct topographic and as-built surveys to gather critical data for projects.
• Take responsibility for site layout by accurately setting out and marking all structural and infrastructure elements, including roads, buildings, utilities, and earthworks.
• Guide and oversee the surveying team, including junior surveyors and chainmen, providing leadership and direction.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the surveying team and project engineers, contractors, agencies like LTA, SP Power, NLT, Singtel, and other other stakeholders.
• Oversee data collection, processing, and interpretation using instruments such as total stations (Topcon) and AutoCAD software, Arc GIS software and prepare detailed survey reports to support project decisions.
• Address and resolve on-site issues such as discrepancies, setting out errors, or conflicts between the design plans and actual site conditions.
• Enforce quality control measures to ensure all survey activities meet accuracy, reliability, and legal standards.

Job Requirements:

• Expertise in operating common total stations.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of surveying.
• Proficient in using computer-aided design software, including AutoCAD and Arc GIS.
• Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of cartography.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Must hold a Diploma in Geo-Spatial Information and Technology.
