Responsibilities

• To further enhance Manufacturing Engineer capability in Engineering
• Oversee the Manufacturing Engineering activity in Engine Overhaul/Component Repair production areas. Act as Technical Authority, assuring the initial and continuing capability of the Production method to produce conforming product and ensuring the resolution of technical issues/problems/arisings to meet business and customer requirements for safety, cost, delivery rate and leadtime (SQCD). • Submission of HVAC/Architectural Design document and drawings for class approval.
• Technical submission (drawings and document) checking and revision control.
• Preparation of technical specification, technical bid evaluations.
• Interface with other disciplines and provide necessary guidance on HVAC/Architectural installation.
• Technical Clarification with Client and Vendor.
• Involved actively and monitoring the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning HVAC system and architectural work.
• Raise purchase requisition for the project required consumable and hardware items & sub-contractor works.
• Instruct supervisors/foreman on a day-to-day basis for work progress.
• Liaise with representatives, classification society surveyors and other to comply with inspection requirements.
• Resolve any technical problems or issues faced at work site.
• Monitors progress and instruct supervisors and foreman on safety and quality.
• Maintain the file copy of all latest revision drawings, approved procedures, client site instruction, project specifications, raised AFI and client signed reports for materialreceiving inspection and mechanical works for internal and external audits.
• Prepare Red-Line Mark-up as per site changes and submit to Engineering Dept to prepare as-built.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 5 year experiences in Bolt Torque and Flange Management in Marine shipyard
• Experience in marine HVAC installation and testing
• Experience in troubling shooting HVAC system and equipments
• Some knowledge and experience in shipyard safety rules and regulations will be an added advantage
• Willing to work shift

Requirements:

ITE or GCE N Level or equivalent working experience

Responsibilities

• Drafting & designing of routing for Electrical building services drawings in AutoCAD
• Prepare detail design and working drawings such as schematic diagrams, single-line diagrams arrangement/layout drawings.
• Coordinate with Engineering team to ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawing specification.
• Update all drawings as per site/vendor modifications for As-Built Drawings.
• Ensure compliance to Electrical Standards
• Candidate will require to design and draw for Building services, e.g., Electrical, Air conditioning, Plumbing, Sanitary and Fire Protection services etc.
• Attending the meeting with consultants, contractors as part of project.
• Familiarity with 3D modelling tools is preferred.
• Required to maintain all drawing files, update drawings as needed, and make corrections to drawings as directed by the Section Heads / Leads.
• Coordination of drawings with Clients / Main Contractors and updating of drawings base on Meetings and discussion and in compliance to Regulation Codes and Practices
• Familiar with BIM documentations and shop drawings directly from the models

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Able to read Building drawings, good in Autocad.
• Well-versed in building regulations and local design codes.
• Proficient in AutoCad drafting and Microsoft Office.
• 3D BIM Modelling in Autodesk
• Good interpersonal skill with the ability to connect with and influence stakeholders with different objectives
• Able to solve problems under pressure
