Get to know the Role (Lead Security Engineer):

• We are seeking a lead security engineer who can drive security strategy and initiatives from 0 to 1. As a Marine Design Engineer, you will own engineering responsibilities for all Cavotec’s shipboard shore power retrofit projects. Type of retrofit can be either turnkey, repair and upgrading. Project execution takes place either during voyage or at shipyards, or at times, both.

Shore power/ HVSC/ Alternative Maritime Power (AMP)/ Cold-ironing system enables vessels to connect to shore power while at berth, hence minimizing emissions and noises from the ship’s auxiliary engines. Job Requirement:

• Experience in handling LTA Infrastructure design works
• At least 8 years design experience
• Good knowledge of the various engineering design software, for instance Autocad, BIM
• Candidate with strong relevant years of experience will be considered for senior positions

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Construction Team and Clients on Testing & Commissioning (T&C) plans and schedules.
• Responsible and work closely with Construction Team, Sub-Contractors and Clients on all T&C activities.
• Identify and rectify issues during all T&C activities to minimize downtime and ensure Project timelines are met.
• Attend meeting with Construction Team, Sub-Contractors and Clients.
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are comply at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Testing & Commissioning field.
• Compete in Engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Experience in LV Electrical System for MRT Project is a bonus.

Job Description:

• Experienced in structural engineering design works mainly for road/viaduct projects.
• Supervision of drafting for the preparation of project documentation.
• Prepare designs, sketches and reports with supporting calculations for projects, and supply drafting staff with information to assist in the production of detailed drawings, the development of quantities, materials lists and cost estimates as required.
• Assist in the preparation of technical detail for quotations, contract documentation and technical specifications.
• Prepare technical submissions for materials, construction methods and C&S shop drawings.
• Liaise with suppliers, clients, consultants or commissioning engineers concerning the design, installation or construction and commissioning of assigned work.
• Participate in the planning of projects as required.
• Previous experience in the use and application of Appropriate Singapore local and international Standards for structural design.
• Attend site inspection with required

Responsibilities:
• Working closely with Project Manager / Engineer to performance maintenance, perform fault diagnosis, trouble shooting and maintenance of electrical system/component
• Performance general repair / preventive maintenance duties
• Assist in planning and design electrical switchboards, consoles and control panels according to customer requirements and company standards
• Assist to prepare approval drawings, shop drawings, final drawings / documents, short circuit calculations, instruction manuals as required for submission to clients
• Coordinate with clients and consultants on the technical requirements. Attend technical discussions with clients and consultants when required
• Check and follow-up on design and shop drawings with production departments
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

4. To review the distributor’s performance periodically and make recommendations for sales improvements and distributors’ motivation

8. Working closely with IP Lawyer and Clients for taking action against infringer of company’s trademarks and products

Project Coordinator

The initial job duties the Employee will be expected to perform will be the following:

• Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
• Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.
• Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
• Enforcing site safety rules to Zero or minimize work-related accidents and injuries.
• Ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the site even though he/she is not the chief-in-charge of the project.
• Completing Quality Inspections.
• Manage orders and deliveries of construction materials.
• Responsibility and coordination of labor and materials to be utilized at the site.
• Ensuring that all work is completed according to the specifications set forth by the client.
• Adhoc additional duties assigned by time to time.
