1. Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization.

2. Supports back-office and firm-wide training programs, reinforcing tech and operations infrastructure between departments to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.

3. Carry out inspection as well as resolving and monitoring rectification works.

4. Works closely with the management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions within the firm are being properly executed in accordance with regulatory-based best practices.

5. Supervise the construction of works and incorporation of materials and ensure that they are carried out in accordance with the project plan.

6. Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.

7. Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency.

8. Handle and transport materials (eg. Cement, tiles, stone) and equipment with care (eg. Drill, polishing machine, hacking machine)

9. Carry out inspection as well as resolving and monitoring rectification works.

10. 24/7 Ad-hoc assignments.

11. Stays up to date on industry regulations, trends, and technology.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Be aligned and act in accordance to SMRT's Vision, Mission, Service Standard and Core Values.

2. Ensure good understanding, knowledge and skills needed for all maintenance activities and provide support for staff training.

3. Lead and supervise a team of Technical Officer(s) to perform preventive, corrective, overhaul, troubleshooting, engineering analysis, investigation or any assigned maintenance activities on all rolling stocks, depot and workshop equipment.

4. Assist to plan and coordinate staff deployment and shift roster to optimise resources utilisation.

5. Verify and ensure all tasks executed by the team are in accordance to latest Work Instructions, Quality, Maintenance, Operational and Safety Procedures, and to ensure personal and peers’ safety at all times.

6. Ensure spares, tools and equipment used are in good condition and calibrated if necessary.

7. Perform train shunting activities and operate depot equipment, maintenance vehicles and maintenance equipment to support maintenance activities of the group.

8. Verify and ensure work records done by the team are updated factually, accurately and timely on Work Records Form and on the Maintenance Management System

9. Report immediately any abnormalities or practices observed that are not in accordance to Work Instructions, Quality, Maintenance, Operational and Safety Procedures.

10. Adopt KAIZEN methodology (5M, 5S & 5W) to eliminate 8 Wastes and improve Productivity and Value of work performed.

11. Provide support to staff, contractors or any other personnel who are required to perform work on depot and all rolling stocks.

12. To support the group during incidents, accidents and emergencies.

13. Ensure excellent housekeeping are maintained within all work areas.

14. Maintain a high level of work discipline and standards.

15. Perform any other task as assigned.

• Assist SRE to manage team of the site supervisors

• Site supervision/inspection of construction works

Job descriptions:

• Roaming testing with Roaming partners for 3G, 4G, 5G and VoLTE coverage.
• Manage Roaming sim management/distribution
• Roaming reporting to Partners and Stakeholders on a regular basis with Reports to Senior management on a weekly basis.
• TADIG, NRTRDE and IREG support in general areas of work requirements
• Retail plans testing with Roaming and SMS fraud management on a daily basis. (Crucial)

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of GSMA/ IREG roaming procedures
• Fundamental knowledge of 4G and 5G Core Network Equipment and architecture is preferred.

• Ability to swiftly achieve alignment with multiple internal and external stakeholders

Position Summary
The incumbent will perform general duties of a Civil engineer, work closely with relevant departments as well as government agencies in coordinating and managing projects from mobilisation to completion.

QS

• Communicate with suppliers / contractors / consultants / clients during project duration.

• Preparation of tender documents, cost planning, budget estimates, taking off and progress claims

• Pre- & Post-Contracts administration and control

Production
