Your role involves:

• Enhancing data integrity and establishing protocols for identifying anomalies within datasets
• Delving into data sets to uncover insights, pinpointing features and discrepancies, and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.
• Establishing and refining monitoring practices, frameworks, tools, and libraries, and advocating for their adoption across different teams within the organization.
• Streamlining operations through automation, driving enhancements to our systems by advocating for changes that bolster resilience and dependability.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for ingesting data from various sources
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and recommend improvements to existing systems

Skills and experience required

As a successful applicant, you will be familiar with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Proficiency in utilizing diverse data storage and manipulation tools, including SQL, Elasticsearch or Snowflake. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and etc. Exposure to ETL is required for this role.

Candidates from financial services industry background will be highly preferred.

What you will do:

As Sales Engineer IR, you will be part of Regional YPS (York Process System) sales team to handle Sales inquiries from Indonesia customers by providing front end technical, commercial, and administrative support which will be assisted by the team in Singapore. You will also be focusing on growing our business in Indonesia market.

How You Will Do It:

• Providing distinctive sales strategies & support including but not limited to process systems designs and solutions to satisfy customers’ needs.
• Main duties include preliminary design of refrigeration system, compiling accurate project costing, liaising with vendors for quotations, and preparation of Project proposals suiting the Client requirement.
• Developing YPS business in line with company objectives of sustainability, quality earnings and continual growth.
• Execute the business initiatives and commit to yield total customer satisfaction and achieve the business results
• Support the YPS business in the region in possession of sustainability, quality earning and continual growth.
• Ensure the success of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Leadership Review Plan (LRP) objectives within the YPS department.
• Participate in the organization of marketing and promotion, incl. seminar, conference, exhibition, and any form of event which benefits the business performance.

What We Look For:

• Engineering Degree onwards or equivalent (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Process)
• 3 years and above experience in Chemical, Petrochemical, HVAC / Refrigeration, or similar industry.
• Petrochemical, Oil and Gas background is added advantage
• Understand contract/project/credit management, pricing, quotation, business & technical proposal, clarification & negotiation with vendors/suppliers during quotation preparation, and budgeting
• Good communication, analytical, organizing & relationship management skills
• Must be a proactive team player
• Broad based engineering background with Process Refrigeration knowledge
• Good communication skill in English
