[What you will be working on]

You will be involved in the Estates & Facilities Management functions and upgrading of ITE’s physical facilities. Your key responsibilities include the following:

- Oversee the day-to-day M&E maintenance and operations of ITE’s premises;

- Manage the outsourced M&E term contractors to ensure that they deliver their services in accordance with the contractual requirements; and

- Implement upgrading/ renovation projects to ITE’s facilities including the preparation of technical specifications, appointment of contractors, and project management.

[What we are looking for]

You should be trained in Precision Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field in the discipline. Precision machining and manufacturing background with teaching experience is a plus.

Preferably three years of industry experience with at least one of the following areas: CNC machining and manufacturing, Mechatronics/Robotics, Automation, Programmable Logic Controllers, Systems Integration, Networking, Industrial and Collaborative robotics, Electromechanical Systems, Mechanical Engineering Design.

Multi-disciplinary engineering industry experience with a focus on Advanced/Smart Manufacturing, Industrial Internet of Things, machine to machine networking and data collection, Data Analytics and Systems Analysis for Manufacturing, Systems Integration of Industry 4.0 will be an added advantage.

Skills/Abilities:

- Proficient in the use of any of the 3D CAD/CAM software’s such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor or equivalent, Mastercam and Solidcam for CNC Machine programming

- Proficiency in electronics hardware design and prototyping, including: Microcontroller Programming (Arduino, Raspberry Pi), Python, Labview, Matlab, and Arduino IDE or equivalent

- Ability to work with colleagues-students, convey knowledge in-a-form students can understand, and be able to adapt teaching techniques to student needs-various instructional setting.

- Comfortable with technology and its integration in the classroom lesson delivery.

- Knowledge and familiarity with Data Analytics and Coding Essentials will be an advantage.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as word-processing and presentation software, internet, including e-mail application.

- Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as within a group and be able to motivate students and should be able to work with a diverse group of students.

- C, C++, Python programming 
- Electronics and ICT fundamentals 
- IoT/Cloud development, IoT edge cloud and data visualisation 
- Application of Artificial Intelligence in an IoT solution for more efficient operation 
- Knowledge of autonomous electric vehicles and drones 

You should be a good team player, have good communication skills and passion in nurturing youth talents. 

B. Autonomous Mobile Robot & AI 

You should be trained in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related disciplines, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in the development, setting up and deployment of Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) technology. 

You should be familiar in one or more of the following areas: 
- C, C++, Python or similar programming language 
- IoT systems development 
- Lidar System with ROS (Robot Operating System) experience 
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning will be an added advantage 

You should be a good team player, have good communication skills and passion in nurturing youth talents
