As a Product Engineer in Microtube Technologies, you will be primarily responsible for development, testing, fabrication and assembly of glove and development kits. This candidate will work with the engineers in development and improvement of sensor and haptics solutions. This position reports to the Principal Designer and interfaces with the Technical team.

Duties and responsibilities

· Perform fabrication, testing and assembly of in-house products

· Assists in the product design and development of wearables involving sensors and haptics

• Solid working knowledge of implementing the optimal data structures and algorithms to create efficient and scalable applications in Java or Python.
• Experience in application integration with Snowflake, Oracle and MS-SQL.
• Experience in the Systems Development Life Cycle implementation methodology (SDLC) and/or agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
• Hands-on experience of using Linux (or Unix-like OS) as the development environment and familiar with shell scripts and command line tools.
• Understand and apply the good industry practice of code versioning, testing, CICD workflow and code documentation.
• Familiarity with AWS services will be an added advantage.
• Good team player, with strong analytical skills and enjoy complex problem solving with innovative ideas.
• Good communication and people skills required to interact with data analysts, business end-users and vendors to design and develop solutions.
• Good at working with details and is meticulous for operations.
• Work closely with data product team and business end-users to implement and support data platforms using best-of-breed technology and methodology.
• Design and build robust and scalable data ingestion and data management solutions for batch-loading and streaming data sources.
• Enable ingestion checks and data quality checks for all data sets in the data platform and ensure the data issues are actively detected, tracked, and fixed without breaching SLA.

About the role:

• Raise project proposal (STP - Situation, Target & Proposal), Project Investment Proposal (PIP) and justification paper.
• Communication and escalation of project progress, key risk areas and support requirements enabling successful delivery of the project and benefit realization.
• Manage and execute the project in compliance with Safety & Quality standards.
• Manage and execute capital project implementation in accordance to the Global Project Control Framework throughout the project life cycle.
• Prepare cost estimation and schedule plans for projects based on the agreed work scope, and monitor and track cost utilization and project milestones to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
• Administer vendor contracts for outsourced projects, and liaise and manage relationship with the contractors to ensure smooth implementation of projects.
• Develop, manage and conduct validation for installation works in accordance with GMP, GEP and SHE requirements.
• Support in planning, development and controlling project team operating budget facilitating the delivery of targeted projects.

About you:

• Min. Degree in an engineering discipline
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in the project management field for the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience of working with and managing EPCM/TPS providers
• Knowledge of project schedule planning and control
• Knowledge of industrial standards; GMP, GEP and EHS requirements
• Knowledge of cost estimation methodolog
