Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.

• Knowledge on TS/IATF 16949, OHSAS18001, ISO14001, SPC, FMEA and TPM will be added advantage.

• Job Description (Network Engineer)
• The network engineer shall render day-to-day on-site operational management and administration of
• network and network security devices. The services shall include without limitation the following:
•  Provide Network Incident Support.
•  Provide Network Change Request support, including analyzing, plan review & implementation.
•  Implement Access Control Lists.
•  Manage the problem resolution process with maintenance support vendor on operations well as troubleshooting and resolution of network related problems.
•  Provide technical support and advice on all hardware and software in the network environment.
•  Perform routine backup and recovery for network devices.
•  Asset management and tracking.
•  Supervise and provide vendor management for external contractors.
•  Be part of the preventive maintenance team to attend to issues reported in the yard area.
•  On 24x7 rotational standby or shift duty.
•  Manage the network equipment outdoor.
• The network engineer shall have hands-on network engineering experience in installation,
• configuration and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, WLAN controllers and
• APs, and other telecommunications devices, including the following:
•  Deep understanding of OSI and TCP/IP model.
•  Proficiency in routing, switching, LAN and WLAN technologies.
•  Proficiency in networking protocols (e.g. OSPF, IPSEC, BGP, QoS, 802.11, RADIUS,
• TACACS+, DNS, DHCP)
•  Ability to perform in-depth troubleshooting and analysis of connection session issues using
• firewall logs and network analyzer tools.
•  Proficiency in Network Security concepts with proficiency in configuration of Cisco, Check Point
• and Palo Alto security products.
•  Proficiency in cellular mobile access network technologies (3G/4G/5G).
•  Proficiency in DWDM technologies, optical networking and components involved. ADVA and
• Huawei optical products in particular.
•  Understanding of Cisco Data Center Interconnect (DCI) framework and concepts like OTV, vPC.
•  Proficiency in switch virtualization technologies like Cisco’s Virtual Switching System (VSS) and
• HP’s Intelligent Resilient Framework (IRF).
•  Understanding of switch link aggregation concept and proficiency in link aggregation among

•  Network automation competency with Python, Netconf, Restconf, and RESTful API etc.

•  The engineer is required to attend the ‘Work at Height’ supervisor course and be certified within the first 3 months of service.
•  CCIE certified, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience managing enterprise scale networks (**Optional**).

Required Driving License

You will play a lead role in driving the overall process of ensuring that the design and development of multi-disciplinary interfaces among the different electrical and mechanical systems are compatible with the overall performance requirement. This process of managing the system interfaces and integration will be applied throughout from project design, construction and testing and commissioning phases to final completion.

You will also review technical submissions and participate in the construction, installation, testing and commissioning of these systems. You will assist Project Managers in resolving system design / system interface / site-related issues within a stipulated timeframe. You are required to manage, supervise, monitor and report project construction, testing and commissioning progress. In addition, you will assist Project Managers in preparing technical specifications, participate in tender evaluation, as well as conduct design review of new rail transit systems.
